I am writing to you in regards to a letter dated January 19, and states there have been multiple attempts to contact us in response to a complaint filed by *** *** ***The letter was physically received by the Helzberg Diamonds Corporate Office on March 15, and we have no record

While we regret that Mr. [redacted] feels misled by us, we feel strongly that we have advised him as accurately as we could at each stage of his loan application process. I am rejecting this response because:
Latanya told me to have a year historyand that they would do a loan for me it was approve at 500 then after talking to there undewriter manager he said he could go 2500 I sent the documents he requested and Tanya had told me she could do the vehicle loan which I took her a bill of sale she said they could only do one or the other then they turned me down very unprofessional and I think she needs more training and I was mislead and feel like I was lied too

Review: We bought our rings through Helzberg Diamonds. When we bought my (the female) set, including the engagement ring, they told us we needed it inspected every 6 months in order to keep the warranty against wear and tear. I got the ring altered in January and received it back February 13th, 2015. When I got it back, I asked if the service counted as the inspection and they said yes. They never asked for a card or anything. I went in October 5th to get it inspected again and get my bands soldered (yes, it was more than 6 months later) and they told us they would not inspect it without our inspection card (that we never got). I went to the online customer chat on October 6th and told them about all of this and they said they would get back of me with more information in 24-48 hours. 48 hours later I had not heard from them so I called customer service. They told me it was still being looked into and they would try to return my call that day. The next afternoon(so more than 24 hours later), I called them back to get an update. The person I spoke with told me that I would have to pay to get the rings soldered and then they would inspect the ring. Soldering was part of the lifetime warranty so I said I won't pay for that and asked to talk to a manager. The manager told me that if I got the ring inspected that I could take them in the week after to get them soldered. I went in to the store to do so and the manager at the store told me she would not do that and if I wanted the soldered that I either had to pay or wait 6 months after the inspection. I told her I spoke to Yvette this afternoon and that is not what she told me. The manager refused. To solder them after the inspection. I plan on calling Yvette tomorrow. The manager was rude and very unfriendly. They're trying to charge me for a service that once my inspection is up to date (which I will pay to get it up to date) that the warranty covers. It is extremely frustrating getting the run around.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my rings inspected and then recipes and soldered. I would also like an apology from the manager for being so rude.

I absolutely love my Helzberg Diamond wedding set. I admit I am way too rough on it. Recently I lost the center stone. I am so glad my sales representative, Tara, explained the Jewelry guarantee to us when we my husband purchased the set. The jewelery guarantee really works just like Tara said it would when she initially explained it. The company really does deliver on the promise they give when you purchase. I will always be a loyal Helzberg customer!

Review: On Dec 26 I took a pearl necklace with a broken string to Helzberg Diamonds to be restrung. Most of the necklace was still intact, only three pearls had come off. The necklace is about 20 years old and cost, at the time about $ 600. It was restrung about two years ago. There were no significant knots to be seen in between the pearls and the necklace laid and flowed smoothly. When I returned to pick up the "restrung" necklace, I was appalled. There were now significant spaces with thick knots between each pearl and it was no longer laying flat, it had kinks every few inches. It was clearly strung too tightly and with a string that is much too big. It looked like something that comes out of a gumball machine. I asked that they take it back to the repair shop to be restrung in a professional manner. All three store employers, including the one ([redacted]) who was there when I turned in the necklace and saw how it looked originally, agreed with me that it was a terrible repair job. When I came back days later to pick up the now again "restrung" necklace it was exactly the same. I asked for my money ($165) back so that I could take the necklace somewhere else. I was told I had to talk to a manager, a **. [redacted] who was not there then. I left the necklace and returned a few days later with my husband when **. [redacted] was there. He stated that the way the necklace looked was how it was supposed to look. We demanded our money back, he refused. He stated that they would only be willing to try to stretch the necklace so that it would lay smoother. Since we had no choice we agreed. My husband asked for the number of the regional manager, called him, but was only able to leave a message. The call was not returned. Yesterday I went to pick up the "stretched" necklace. It looked exactly the same as it did when I first came to pick it up after the intial restringing. Full of kinks with big knots in between each pearl where there was no space to be seen before.Desired Settlement: I would like them to return the $ 165 so that I can take the necklace to a "real" professional and have it restrung.
