Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.  I spoke to Sarah, the associate who completed the transaction, to confirm the details.  Our store policy is as follows....  Exchange or store credit only. No refunds.  Exchanges are within 60 days and receipt is required for...

exchanges.  No exchanges on tights or sale items.  This policy is posted on our sales counter in the store and on customer receipts.  This policy applies to EVERY customer.  With that said, although it does not specify tags, we typically do not take back items with detached tags as that is usually a sign of being worn and we do not take back worn items.  As a small business, in order to uphold our quality and integrity of the products we sell, we do not take back items that have been worn.  When a customer visits our store they can be assured that they are purchasing high quality, unworn, unused products.  Because of the quality we adhere to, we may have stricter return policies than your larger chain stores.  We understand that, at times, tags may come detached without fault of the customer.  We take these types of exchanges on a case by case basis.  If the employee is not able to tell if the item has been worn, they will recommend the customer contact the store owner directly to handle the exchange.  Sarah did mention that she failed to do this and I do apologize for the miscommunication.  I would be more than happy to exchange the item for you.  Just bring in the skirt, tags & receipt within 60 days from today (3/8/18) and I can process the exchange.  Please ask for the owner.
