Good Afternoon, Subscriptions to 'Hemmings Motor News' are no longer delivered to correctional facilities because the mail class we use does not allow for mail forwarding which results in a large number of undeliverable issuesAccordingly, Mr [redacted] 's check was 'not cashed', but returned to him with the attached generic letter (see *** [redacted] Subscription attachment)Per Hemmings subscription database notes, Mr [redacted] received the letter, called Hemmings subscription dept on 11/30/(attachment 2) and spoke with rep [redacted] Mr [redacted] relayed he never received his check back, Ms [redacted] stated we have no record of cashing it & requested [redacted] contact the facility that wrote/issued the check for him and request they provide a copy of front & back, and forward that to usThis information will allow us to trace who cashed the checkTo date the requested copies have not been received.Regards, [redacted] ***, Hemmings Motor News Customer LiaisonPO Box 380, Bennington, VT

The Digital ad purchased is time based and ran for the day the client purchased Clients control the day(s) ad run by the contract they signMy response was delayed due to being on a plane most of the day but was responded to within hours

Hemmings Services did call back this morning and gave me the name of the entity that sold my information to themIt is the *** *** charity that sold them my informationI have contacted the *** *** charity foundation and requested they remove my information from t he sales list
Of course they denied that that gave up my information but they said they wouldI asked them to have a manager call back and verify that they have removed my name from the information for sales list, making them the same promise I made Hemmings services, if they do not I will file complaints against them. Thank youHemmings has keep their word so I conciser this closed, even though I consider if unethical and a violation of my privacy and rights for any company to buy personnel information on other people, I acknowledge their compliance to my requestHowever, The Revdex.com is free to proceed as you may with this, and I will support your decision. the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. The response never explained why I was misled. I told the Hemming's sales rep at the time I was asking the questions and purchasing the ad that the click through to my landing page was sufficient because, as long as the viewer kept the email with my add in it, then they could click to my landing page even if it was the next day or through the weekend. The sales rep should have stopped me and fully explained how the ad was going to work. I could have added a phone number and we could have avoided all of this. Instead, I was misled and my results were poor at best. I found out about this problem from a Hemming's client who saw my ad on Friday and remembered the name of the auction company on my landing page. They were able to get back to the webpage and then they contacted me to tell me the click through no longer worked. It was clear the sales rep was trying to make a sale, but the ad could have benefited my business and the upcoming auction had Hemming's had been forthright with me from the beginning. Mr [redacted] himself, acknowledged that I received less than the 24 hours that I paid for. Frankly, I expect nothing to be resolved from this dispute, but as an advertiser and an owner of antique cars, Hemming's has gone from good to poor in my eyes - they have gone out of their way to screw one of their advertisers and I will never forget it.   Regards,
