Review: We have several complaints. First off we bought the Jeep and it was advertised with a soft top as the hard top for the Jeep was already on it at the time of purchase. After completing paying for the vehicle we were given the keys and walked out to find NO soft top. We have video proof that the car was advertised and listed to include the soft top. False advertising. We then took the car home and put our daughter in the back seat to find it had NO SEATBELT. This vehicle had "PASSED" THEIR NYS inspection. It's impossible for any vehicle to pass inspection without rear seatbelts. We then had our mechanic take a look at the vehicle to find several significant repairs that needed to be completed. Hempstead Ford Dealership said they would repair the noted issues. We brought the car in and they had it for several days. Roughly 2 months later we brought the car to our local Jeep dealership for an oil change since the oil light came on. They discovered that the oil light was on because the repair work that Hempstead Ford said they did was in fact NEVER DONE. Due to the lack of original service that they said they completed the Jeep was seriously compromised, in addition it was a life safety hazard as well as to operate. We had the item that was a safety hazard fixed but left the other repairs that were not detrimental to the car unfixed to be resolved with Hempstead ford for which we purchased the car from. The billed totaled over $500. After speaking with Hemptead Ford they apologized that the work was never completed for which they assured us all work was completed. They said they would fix the outstanding issues at their establishment but would NOT pay for the work done at the Jeep dealership and also would not provide us the Jeep soft top. We have been lied to about repair work being done and it has jeopardized the vehicle as well as could have potentially jeopardized the drivers in our family. This is a fraudulent dealership that needs to be punished for their actions ...you accredit them on their Facebook and web page and this is by no means reflective actions of a business you should be giving a thumbs up to and they promote.Desired Settlement: properly have car repaired by a reliable and trustworthy repair shop

I have attached the bills from the Jeep dealership for which we had to complete some of the work IMMEDIATELY due to the fact that Hempstead Ford Lincoln “claimed” they completed BUT never did…It compromised the vehicle as well as jeopardized the safety of all those that drove the vehicle. As requested the follow up with the listed advertisement with the soft top in the email and the remainder are BELOW in the video which clearly shows the video was taken on their premises and included a soft top. The remainder of the documentation you requested in a fax this afternoon. I also if needed have email correspondences with Hempstead Fords admission that this car was delivered and sold to us with a NYS inspection that DID NOT meat NYS standards. I will be faxing the bill of sale, , warranty information, royal shield limited vehicle warranty. Below is the the video that CLEARLY lists the soft top included in the sale of this vehicle that we payed full asking price. In addition I have written proof in documentation that this car was sold to us with a NYS safety inspection and in fact when we returned home we found this “fully inspected car” WITHOUT any rear seatbelts. We plan to follow up with then NYS DMV to file a claim for this as well. We let it go at the time, since they had promised that they would repair the vehicle items that were a MUST to fix after purchase…again to find out that ALL of those items the told us were serviced …were NEVER serviced and again compromised the car and put the life of the drivers in our family in jeopardy. They too can lose their NYS inspection license for this negligence. Again I thank you for your time and assistance in helping us with this matter.
