On October 18, 2019, I wrote the last check to Job (the general contractor) for a $51,000 remodeling job at my home. The exterior window was not capped, but Job took a picture and sent a text saying “the window will be capped middle of next week.” It’s January 24, 2020 and my window is not capped. I’m worried that the exposed wood on the casing around the window could be affected by rain and moisture if this goes unresolved for much longer.

Also, I had a new central air condenser installed which has been put in an exterior cage for security purposes, but I don’t have the key to the cage. I don’t have access to it in case a repair had to be done. Hopefully he still has the key after the 3 months since the cage was installed.

I have reached out to Job about getting the window capped and the key to the cage, but now I feel I am being ignored.

I reached out to him and one of his workers on January 4th, to which Job said “we will do the window.” I haven’t heard back from him since then despite reaching out to him 2 more times to ask for an ETA.
