I highly recommend Hemstock Tree Care! I first contacted Hemstock Tree Care to get a quote on a sweet gum tree in my backyard that needed to be removed along with a few stumps to be ground that I had left while clearing small trees The Owner Cliff Hemstock was very professional and on time with my quote appointmentWe walked through everything that needed to be done and the equipment the crew was going to use There was slight delay in setting a date for the tree removal due to needing approval from my Home Owners Association but, Cliff was very understanding and glad to work with me on the situation The crew showed up with all the equipment they needed right on time as contracted, and all the work was completed in far less time than I had expected The Crew Leader Chris [redacted] introduced me to all the crew who were very professional and walked me through everything they had done and was happy to answer any questions I had The site where the tree had been removed was totally cleared of debris and covered over with the mulch from the stump grinding The stump grinder did not cause any damage or leave any tire marks in my yard which I was very impressed with because I had expected some sign equipment had been used but there was none In my opinion they do excellent work and I plan on recommending them to my Home Owners Association as well as anyone needing tree care services

Cliff, Chris and the entire crew did an excellent job of taking down our tree. They showed up when they said they would and did exactly what they said. The entire crew was professional and worked hard to make a difficult situation work for all of us. Would not hesitate to hire the Hemstocks again.

We had a very large oak tree (approx 30 feet tall and about 3 feet in diameter, at least) that had become very dangerous and was hollowing out in the middle. This tree was beyond saving and just needed to be taken down before it fell on the house, to be perfectly honest. We called several to come give us an estimate and Hemstock is the only one who came to see us, just as he said he would. We greatly appreciated the fact that he followed through with what he said he'd do, which isn't something that you can always find these days. This wasn't going to be an easy project and we knew that. We also had another large oak that is closer to the house but not quite as large. They suggested cutting this one back in order to be able to still reap some benefits of the shade it provides. They were able to do just as they suggested. The price was exactly what was estimated. They came the specific date that was agreed upon and the entire project was completed by the time we came home from work. As you can imagine, bringing down such a large tree meant that large amounts of this trunk and limbs would have to fall in the yard. We were pleased to see that although there were a few large "divets" created (very few considering how large the tree was) but they successfully filled these holes and fixed everything up really nicely. We were very satisfied with the overall process and will definitely recommend this company. Should we need further help with something of this sort, we would use them again!

Great experience. Hemstock did exactly what we expected to be done. We had three trees removed and the grinding of one stump. They had the right equipment and Hemstock's crew were courteous, professional, efficient, and safe. Highly recommend them; we will use them again when we need tree services.
