Henderson & Daughter Reviews (9)

Henderson & Daughter has been trying to find a resolution to Mr***'s window issues since he first contacted us in We reached out to the Milgard sales rep and the Milgard Window service department for help in dealing with his issues since they were the manufacturer of the window product We have been his advocate, and we believe that there is a problem with the windows that needs to be fixed Every time he sent an audio or video of the problem, we forwarded it to the sales rep and service department at Milgard Our management team went to the Milgard plant and met with the regional service manager about a month ago to discuss with him our concern that this problem is still persisting To rule out a possibility of any installation issues, we were told by the service department at Milgard that they did talk to Mr [redacted] about removing some exterior trim from around a window to see if that would alleviate the "popping" noise when the windows expand and contract He was adamant that the windows had been installed per factory specs and was unwilling to pursue that avenue of process of elimination We are now in the process of trying to coordinate a meeting at Mr***'s house with Milgard Windows, the original contractor, and some of our team to try to further evaluate the problem, and hopefully, find a permanent solution We are sorry that this has been going on for so long, but have not, and will not give up on helping our customer We only sold the windows to Mr*** We did not manufacture them or install them Although we have been trying to help Mr [redacted] through this process, it is ultimately the responsibility of the contractor and the window manufacturer to find a solution to the window "popping" issue

Dear Revdex.com,Alan Kunsman Roofing replaced the roof on the customers home after a hail storm in May All of the work was performed as per the hail damage insurance claim that was paid through *** Insurance Upon completion of the work there was a leak around a skylight in the bathroom
This leak was addressed immediately when we were notified by the customerFour years later, during the record winter of 2014, we were contacted about a leak in the foyer of the customers homeAgain we responded immediatelyUpon arriving at the home it was clear that an ice dam had formed on the front wall area of the house where the laminated stone wall meets the roof The ice dam extended onto the exterior wall and over the area where the stain occurred in the foyerWe have photos that show the ice dam in this areaWe removed the ice from this wall area which stopped the leak The wall area was then inspected by a professional masonry installation company who determined that the "kick out" or diverter flashing that was installed behind the stone by the original masonry contractor was, over time, causing the leak to occurThis was not the result of the roofing installation The leak occurred again after the record snow last month, January 2016, when the ice formed on the wall as the snow melted during the day and refroze at nightAgain the leak stopped when the snow and ice was removed from this wall area. The customer had the masonry company replace the stone and "kick out" flashing in this areaAt that time, photos were taken that show the roof deck in this area is clean and free of water stainsAlso showing that the roof installation was not leaking The leak has never occurred from rain.I understand the customer's frustration over this but this is not a leak that was caused by our workmanshipThe customer believes we are "passing the buck" on this issue but the reality is that we can not be responsible for an issue that we did not createWe have always responded to the customer in a timely and professional manner and have tried to help as much as possible to resolve this issue. Sincerely,Donald L***PresidentAlan Kunsman Roofing and Siding

We stand behind our initial response and have photo documentation to support that response. Sincerely,Donald L***PresidentAlan Kunsman Roofing and Siding Inc.*** *** StreetFreemansburg, Pa 18017###-###-####

rectify the leaking problem. I told him we would have to go on the roof to check the chimney, which as you can see from the enclosed pictures, is quite high. A two man crew was sent to check it out. The homeowner never asked whether there would be a charge for that work; nor did I mention at that time anything about a cost. In order to help him, we had to find the cause of the leak before it could be repaired. Therefore, certain materials have to be removed to determine the cause of the problem. Pictures were taken and an estimate was sent detailing the work that would have to be done in order to correct the problem.
