We have met with the homeowner and discussed a plan to fix her gutters and the deck We apologized for the way things were handled Since the issues came up during the winter time, we forgot to get back with her once it warmed up in the spring Todd D [redacted] only remembers this happening once, not twice Also, a person from our office had called her back and discussed the issues with her the day before she filed this complaint He stated that he would get back with her on scheduling someone to come out and look at it but since it was raining he decided to wait until the next day to have someone come out By the end of the day the lady had filed the complaint with the Revdex.com before we could even get out to meet with her We are fine with fixing the issues with the gutters and the painting

I talked to [redacted] the other day and I feel like it is unreasonable to refund all of his money for the work we did on his chimney I understand that it rained after we painted his trim boards and he is unhappy with us putting a small piece of trim at the top of his chimney I don't think it matters a whole lot for functionality but we have offered to replace it to satisfy him and also caulk and repaint the trim since it rained right after we painted it When we wanted to come out to fix it he said that he wanted to be there so he wouldn't let us just come out and fix it We tried several times to schedule a time to come out with no response from him Todd even drove out to his house to try to get it figured out The small amount of black mold on the corners was covered up with his approval the day we did the siding The alternative was for him to pay additional money to replace the sheathing and it wasn't completely rotten so we went over it He watched us do it and now that it is time to pay for the job he is asking for a complete refund I think that is ridiculous and I do not want to refund him all of his deposit because we have completely re-done his chimney Todd called him to try to fix the trim boards on:6/8/at 10:39am6/27/at 12:15pm7/7/at 11:30am and then drove to his house7/10/at 7:34pm and asked him to give us a time that works for him to get it doneWe have tried several times to fix these trim boards to make him satisfied and repaint them to his satisfaction and he hasn't gotten back to us I feel like we should be able to repaint the trim boards and get paid the full amount that is owed to us At this point I am willing to not charge him the remaining balance due and keep the deposit and let him find someone else to paint the trim boards I feel like that is more than fair, but I feel like a complete refund is not fairTJ Elbert

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I do appreciate the Revdex.com help in resolving this issue.  Elbert is attempting to make this right for us and we appreciate that.  However, it did not happen the way they stated in their response.  NO ONE CALLED ME!!  That was the reason for my registering the complaint.  If it is in their records as such, it is false and they have our complaint mixed up with someone else.  I contacted Todd back in late March, early April and then did not hear anything else from them until this past Wednesday when they sent their VP out. We are very appreciative that they are making a good attempt to take care of our problems.  Their gutter person is coming out this afternoon and the painting will be done in a couple of weeks.  Thank you to the Revdex.com and to Elbert for handling this in a timely manner.
