Review: On October 24, 2014 I paid a 50% deposit of $8,248.00 for a new Geothermal heating and air system and a Hot water generator system. The contract was for an availability of 4 weeks from date of acceptance. Henderson Mechanical said that the wells would be drilled on the last week of October or the first week of November and that systems would be installed very quickly after that. The wells have still not been drilled. The last promise from Henderson Mechanical was that the wells would be drilled no later than December 5th. There has been no word from Henderson Mechanical on what the problem is. I called a local well driller and was told that the lead time for well drilling is approximately one week. I feel that Henderson Mechanical is stalling even though they are already in default of our contract. I am willing to accept delivery of the order IF the systems are installed immediately, otherwise I would like a full refund of my deposit.Desired Settlement: Delivery of the order and a fully operational heating and air system and a hot water generator system.

We have contacted the customer regarding this complaint directly. We are working with our well driller, who is a subcontractor, as well as the [redacted] and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources (DNREC) to resolve permitting delays that are beyond our control. As of this writing it is our understanding that [redacted] was contacted by DNREC this morning (12/12/2014) regarding the disposition of a well permit application. It is also our understanding that the subcontractor has been contacted by DNREC, and they have informed them that a permit is being issued presently. We have offered our assurances to the customer that the project will be expedited upon receipt of the well permit. There are significant penalties for initiating work of this type without a permit. Upon consultation with customer in person we are confident that this issue has been successfully resolved.
