Henderson's Car Audio Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have reviewed the statement for Henderson's. First of all, the day that I was supposed to take the car back in for the tint guy to correct was on a Tuesday or Wednesday. On these 2 days I work at 2pm, normally it's 3pm. The text that I sent to [redacted] requesting the owners name and # were sent to these 2 numbers, are they both landlines? [redacted], and [redacted]. Furthermore I spoke with [redacted] twice after the text and the initial repair appt., and was told that he would contact [redacted] and find out when he would be available, and would call me back. To this day, he has not contacted me about correcting the tint issue. Why not, he's agreed that the tint has bubbles. As far as the scratches on the paint, he told me that they would have come from a different angle if they were caused by his tint guy. Now, I find this very interesting that [redacted] brought up the video surveillance. Did he provide the Revdex.com with a copy of this footage? Did he offer to let me see the footage? NO. I know every scratch and blemish on my car, and I don't falsely accuse anyone of anything. [redacted] mentioned that my car was 8 years old. Is that an attempt to say that it probably had prior damage? When I took my car there to Henderson's, [redacted] was  amazed at how amazing the car looked. As I mentioned before, the paint issue has subsided and is not as visible as it was, but it is still there. Since my complaint to the Revdex.com, and when [redacted] became aware of it, he still has not provided me with the owners name or #. All I want is for my tint issue to be corrected, and I would like to take a look at the surveillance video [redacted] says he has, since it shows in one way or the other what did or did not occur. I would of thought t he would have automatically sent the footage to the Revdex.com to immediately dispute the accusation that the paint scratches occurred there at Henderson's. I have attached 1 e-mail and 2 text messages that were sent to first 1 and then both of the numbers listed above.
Thank you for your time....

Re: ID [redacted]
Hello,
My name is [redacted]. I am the store manger of Henderson’s Car Audio & Alarms.  I am also the representative that helped Mr. [redacted].
Mr. [redacted] brought us his 8 year old corvette for us to tint his windows on Saturday, Nov. 7th 2015.
We finished the car at the end of the day and off he went.
He brought his car back Monday Nov. 9th and showed me a couple of bubbles on the tint and some “scratches” next to his rear window and said the scratched were cause by the tinter heat gun cord.
I agreed about the bubbles in his tint and offered to make another appointment immediately to redo the tint.  The “scratches” that Mr. [redacted] showed me COULD NOT have been made by the cord of the heat gun (the cord of the heart gun is SPECIFICALLY rubberized to prevent anything like that from happening). In addition to that, the scratches run vertically and there was about 3-4 of them for about 5-8 inches and the cord would have came over the rear into the cargo area rather than running from front to back as the scratches demonstrate FURTHERING my conclusion that they DIDN’T happen while the car was here.  I furthered my investigation by reviewing the video surveillance and did not see anything that occurred that would have made the scratches.
To continue, I called Mr. [redacted] back within an hour or two to ask him when he wanted to come in to redo the tint and he said any day. I then called our window tinter and we made arrangement for Thursday Nov. 12th.  I called Mr. [redacted] back immediately to confirm the appointment in which he agreed.
Mr. [redacted] called me on Wed, Nov11th to cancel his appointment “due to his work schedule”. I asked him when would he want to reschedule and he said he would call me to make a different appointment once he would revise he work schedule and I have yet to hear from him
.
At NO TIME did he request the owner name and number. At NO TIME did he send us ANY emails or texts (why would you text a retail land line phone anyway???)
At NO TIME WHATS SO EVER did I “refuse” to make arrangements to redo the tint as Mr. [redacted] stated. If anything, it’s the exact opposite as I tried a couple of times and he had yet to re-schedule his appointment AFTER HE CANCELLED
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I had my car rear window tinted at Henderson's who give a life time warranty on their work. The tint was botched, so I contacted them on several occasions, by calling and using text's. [redacted], the manager has told me several times that he would contact the guy who did the tint and arrange to have it corrected. There was also minor scratching on my paint as a result of the tinter using the dryer gun. [redacted] refuses to make the arrangements. I took the car back in on a Monday, which was the next business day following the tint job for [redacted] to see. I have also requested thru e-mail and text, for the owners name and number, and [redacted] has not provided me with the information. The tint was done on 11-7-2015. I want the tint re-done or repaired, and I want the tinter to take a look at the paint damage, which has diminished since washing and waxing the car. I was told by [redacted] that the business does really High End tint jobs, and I was promised that I would be satisfied with their tint. Well, I'm not. There are cracks and runs throughout the tint.Desired Settlement: I want tint repaired or replaced, and I want the paint damage addressed, which I stated earlier has diminished some.
