Fuse was changed on my interior light in my car. It didn't last long before it was out again for good. Service tech 2nd time said it was electrical .I purchased my 2010 Honda Civic from Hendrick Fiat in cary across the street from Hendrick Dodge. I purchased this vehicle January 1, 2014. Drove the car home January 3, 2014 off the lot after I was able to return my trade. The vehicle was not 'certified' until later upcoming months after I complained about the letter that I received from warranty Autoguard that they couldnt honor my warranty because the vehicle wasn't showing that it was 'certified'. The sales manager made arrangements for the service to pick up my car from my work & bring it back after servicing my car. I also asked them to check my interior light that I noticed not completely working after buying the car. They changed the fuse & didn't last very long before it went out for good. I drove my car for a oil change on a Saturday on August 9, 2014 with an appointment for oil change, check interior light & a piece of plastic cover underneath my car. The service tech was not much helpful at all because he told me that the mechanic techs was UNABLE to fix my interior light because it was electrical and that I would have to take it to a HONDA SPECIAILIST & I asked him why they couldn't work on it because I bought the car over next door & he said that ONLY A MASTER TECHNICIAN is allowed to work on that & they don't work on the weekends. He said that they have extended hours monday through wednesday & I said that I could bring it back after 5 to get it fixed. He said that the MASTER TECHS leave right at 5pm during the week. I told him that I was not taking off any time from work to get this fixed when it should had been fixed when they 'certified' my car the first time. I have had problems with this dealership ever since I chose to buy the car. I am really frustrated that after 8 months of owning my first car in my name that I have to go through this with a high known name dealership. I have contacted the sales manager that was very helpful through out the first complaint & told me that if I had any other problems to contact him & he would see what he could do for me on helping. I talked to him near the end of August 2014 & haven't heard back from him to see what he was able to find out.Desired SettlementThe settlement that I will accept are the following:1. loaner car until my car is fixed with the electrical issue with my interior light. They will have someone drop the loaner car at my work & pick up my car & bring it back when fixed & pick up the loaner car. I will not take off any time from work to take care of this that should had been done already. 2. plastic cover piece fixed so it doesn't flap aymore3. dealership will purchase me on their expense another car of my choice with lifetime warranties at the cost paid by the dealership. They pay off my Honda. Business Response /[redacted]/I have left a message for the client to set up service. XXX XXX-XXXX We will provide a loaner car for her and make the repairs needed. Consumer Response /[redacted]/the service manager at Hendrick Dodge contacted me on the phone. LEft me a voicemail & I returned his phone call to discuss the issues. He requested me to come down to meet with him & get a loaner car so the service department can fix my issues on my car. I am meeting with him this week to get my car fixed.

The main reason for the complaint is that my credit was ran when it didn't need to be. On 4/9/16, I visited Hendrick Dodge around 6pm. I met with salesperson [redacted] about purchasing a vehicle. The dealership advertised that they will give 125% Kelley Blue Book Fair value. I advised the salesperson that I wanted to have numbers reviewed before any credit review. I stated to him that I was in the process of obtaining my [redacted] and did not need any unnecessary credit inquiries. I advised that I was flexible on vehicle choices. After about 15 minutes of speaking with his manager, the salesperson returned and stated that I had around $7000 dollars in negative equity. I asked what the value was that they were giving me, he said around $9000. Before I went to the dealership, I reviewed the value of my car with several other dealerships and was told the value of my car was at $9500. I told the salesperson that the value that he gave me was not the advertised 125% of Kelley Blue Book fair trade value. Kelley Blue Book value plus the advertised 125% should have put the value at $10800. I owe $16500. My negative equity should have been at approximately $2200 after the discounts and rebates. I also stated that I was an employee of [redacted] which entitled me to purchase the vehicle at 1% below invoice. The vehicles that I looked at had $2500 rebates which they did not use. The salesperson stated that my payments on a lease would be around $700 because of my negative equity. We never settled on which car to run numbers on so I am not sure how they came up with the numbers. They also advertised a zero money down lease at $289 per month. If they would have honored their advertisement and given the rebate plus my [redacted] affiliate pricing. My negative equity should have been at approximately $2200 after the discounts and rebates based on a 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT MSRP of $29995. The dodge website shows that a lease payment on that specific vehicle for 36 months at 12000 miles per year with no money down would be at $366. I don't understand how a adding in $2200 in negative equity would increase a payment by over $330. At this point, I can buy a car somewhere else, I just want the inquiry removed and to have all of my contact information removed from Hedrick Dodge Cary's system. I do not want any further contact from them in any shape, form or fashion. I believe they committed false advertisement however, that is not my main concern. My main concern is having the inquiry removed from my credit report. Desired SettlementI did not want any extra discounts that I was not entitled to. I would entertain fair and accurate numbers from the dealer however, the main resolution that I am seeking is to have the inquiry removed from my credit. I would agree to meet with the dealership again if they chose to. I would request another salesperson and manager to review my trade in and to review numbers with me. I don't expect this to happen but if it did, I would entertain it. Again, the main resolution is to have the credit inquiry removed. Business Response We would be happy to meet with the customer again. I did review the trade value and found that we did offered 125% of fair KBB (the advertisement states 120%) also it appears the new unit numbers were presented on is different from the advertised unit on the lease program. Also after receiving the customers permission to run credit we found that his credit score was below what the banks requirement for leasing is (the ad states that you must be a tier 1 in order to obtain the advertised payment). Consumer Response After reviewing my actual value with several other dealers around the area, it appears as if they are not willing to honor their advertisement. The value that they gave me does not coincide with the KBB value. I have been to several dealers just to have my vehicle appraised and was given the same value that Hendrick Dodge gave. At each dealer, I asked for them to give me fair KBB value. If Hendrick was to actually give 125%, their value would be hire than the other dealers. Also, I explained that I only wanted my credit ran one time. I asked to run numbers first before any credit inquiry was to be made. The salesperson stated that we would do just that. That was a lie because now I have an inquiry on my credit that should not be there. I don't want to meet with the dealership. I just want them to remove the inquiry from credit. That is all that I request.

Trying to order a Charger hellcat since October and I've been giving the run around sinceBack in October I was told by 1 sales rep. That I can order my charger hellcat and it would be there in 6-8 weeks just email him my trade in info and give him a deposit and the car would be ordered. After trying to reach that same rep for over a week I finally got another rep. That told me it takes 6-8 months to get the car once the order is placed. I said fine and again couldn't reach rep.2 for another week. I than reached out to a 3rd rep. Who promised to take care of it that I would have to wait till Nov. 10th to place my order becouse the hellcats are only order on the 10th of every month. Nov. Came and I was unable to reach rep.3 I was able to reach the sales manager who promised to take care of this personally. He explained that there was to people ahead of my order 1 for Nov 10 and the other for Dec. 10th. My order is for January 10th on this sunday and I'm once again unable to reach anyone even with having the personal number of the sales manager. My last contact with them was Dec.23. With having to wait 6-8 months for a car it would be nice if I could at lease order it.Desired SettlementI'm seeking to place my order and to have communication with someone that will take care of this issue before my order date is missed and I have to wait another month.Business Response We reached out to the client and updated him on the status of his order and his place on the waiting list. We will stay in contact with updates as we receive them and ensure his order gets placed in the order we received his order. The client is satisfied with our resolution and we will continue to communicate with him. Consumer Response [redacted] reached out to me and assured me that he's on top of my order and that he had the wrong number for me but all has been updated and hopefully I will have my car in the near future. More Info Received From BusinessWe have ordered his Hellcat and have provided him with all the information on his build. He is satisfied with our resolution and we continue to be in communication with him through his ordering process.

Negotiated a purchase price for a vehicle and added a navigation system that was to be included but they added it into the purchase price Purchase a 2013 f-250 and worked out a deal that included a navigation system. They added it into the purchase price saying they would not charge the 2000 dollars but will not refund the money. I also asked that they add on no extras and they added a oil change program that I did not wantDesired SettlementI want the 2000 dollar refund that they agreed toBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], Retail Operations MgrContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@hendrickauto.comNavigation was purchased by the customer as part of the transaction on the 2013 F250. This item was broken out on the contract the customer signed as well as the proposal sheets presented to the customer. As for the Oil Change Package the customer last used this on 06/16/16 however if he would like to cancel the remaining services he just needs to call me at the number listed below and I will email him the required paperwork.I have attached copies of the purchase order and the Oil Change Program the customer signed prior to taking delivery of the truck.

I contacted Hendrick to cancel my extended service agreement once the vehicle was sold. 4 and 1/2 months later, I still do not have my money. At the end of August 2015, I sold my Dodge that I had purchased from Hendrick. On September 1, I contacted Hendrick to find out what I needed to cancel the extended service agreement I had purchased from them to receive my prorated refund. On September 3, I sent in all the requested paperwork. [redacted] confirmed receipt and assured me all would be processed. On October 10th, I called to followup with no response. On December 8th, 12th, and 14th, I sent numerous emails to every finance person at Hendrick in Cary. No response. On December 18th, I called 3 times, finally talked to [redacted] he worked up more paperwork, which did not refund my money back to September 3rd as it should have, but I signed it because at this point I just wanted to be done with them. He confirmed via email that the paperwork was received and would be processed and I would receive 2 checks within 2 weeks. January 13th and again on the 15th I called to speak to the GM, because no one else would call me back. On January 15th, I spoke to [redacted] the GM. He apologized, said he would handle it and give me a call with an update on Monday, January 18th. On Monday, I received no call. I called on Tuesday January 19th, again on January 20th, and again on January 22nd, all with no response. I left numerous voicemails.I simply want the money that I paid to Hendrick and was promised under the contract I signed with I purchased the vehicle and the contract I signed promising me my money back on December 18th. This is my money, they are holding and is unacceptable. The customer service is appalling. Hendrick agrees to reimburse damages for their faulty oil change, does not send check.Aug 23, 2014 Oil change is performed on 2008 Subaru Impreza. Service is slow and customer service rep gave me a hard time that my car wasn't a Dodge, although their express lube services my make and model of car. Drove off lot just fine. Aug. 25 I am driving down the highway under normal driving conditions and oil plug falls out, causing large oil spill on highway, and also covering my car in oil. Pull over immediately to prevent engine damage. Have car towed to nearest repair shop, where rep tells me to contact Hendrick Dodge to see if they will cover damages, because this is the fault of the mechanic in charge of the oil change. Hendrick responds yes just bring in your receipts and we will reimburse you no problem. Bring receipts to Hendrick Dodge either Aug 26 or 27 directly to service manager in charge. Says check will be cut and sent within a week. After one week, still no check. I check back and have to reconfirm amount and says check will be in the mail the next day. One week later still no check. I check back in and they say it will be mailed in a few days. Over a month later and still no settlement.Desired SettlementAgreed with service manager to these costs to be reimbursed both at time of turning over receipts and 9/2/2014:$9.00 - Carwash to remove oil on car$25.00 - Gas for transportation to and from repair place$58.00 - New oil plug, oil change, labor=$92.00 TotalBusiness Response /[redacted]/A check will be sent out to resolve this case.Consumer Response /[redacted]/As of 9/16/2014, still no check.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)While almost two months late and sent to the wrong address, the check finally did come and I accept the resolution.Final Business Response /[redacted]/The client emailed us back and stated she did recieve the check for the amount she requested.

Unprofessional service and sales scam.Monday May 11,2015 I purchased a brand new vehicle(2015 ram 1500) at Dodge of Cary. Durning the purchase process there was multiple times of miscommunication between sales and finance. Following the purchase of my new vehicle once everything was agreed on and I was about to drive off the lot the sales person stopped me and stated that there was a mistake and that my bed cover and floor mats had to be removed. I waited 4 hours for the sales manager to show up. The sales manager said that the mats and bed cover had to be removed even though I already bought the truck with accessories included. A few days following the purchase of my truck I had a n issue with my back windows and transmission. I attempted to contact the sales manager and sales man. Neither of them answered. I left a voicemail on the sales managers phone reguarding the issue. My call was not returned to 2 days later.Following that issue the vehicle I used as a trade in was to be towed off my property by arrangements from dodge of Cary. I already turned in my plates on the vehicle and it was over a week since I was I was told it was going to be towed. Once more I had attempted numerous attempts to contact dodge of Cary. Later that night I got in contact with them and they couldn't explain what was taking them so long to get the vehicle, and told me to call back. Finally after multiple calls they arranged transport the next morning. I risked a fine due to the untimely manner of them getting their vehicle out of my complex. My current issue with Dodge Of Cary is that my permanent plates were to be sent to me through them. It has been over a month and my temporary tags have expired. Once more contacting them was an issue. Finally I had my cosigner contact them after multiple attempts. They are unsure of why my tags aren't there but will send me another set of temporary tags via mail. One other issue I had was when I purchased the truck I asked them about free service and oil changes. The sales person told me thatbi didn't get any free oil changes nor service. The ram jeep Chrysler dealer where I had my Windows fixed looked into their system and told me I have 4 free oil changes that are guaranteed through the manufacturer. The sales staff at Dodge of Cary pull sales scams and are not around when you need help.Desired SettlementReturning my floor mats and bed cover included in the truck cost which was paid. Improving customer service skills.Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Retail Ops MngContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@hendrickauto.comWe have reached out to Mr [redacted] and have come up with a resolution to Mr [redacted] satisfaction. We have given him a tonneau cover and all weather mats per his request and he has stated he is completely satisfied with our resolution. This case should be considered resolved.

Dealer has failed to transfer registration or provide title on a new car purchased 41 days ago from the date of this complaint.I purchased a new car from this dealership on May 30, 2016 for the agreed price of $55,500. I was only provided one key, which proved to be another issue in itself. But this complaint is over the fact that the dealer has not transferred the registration from the car traded in nor provided the title. They are now avoiding my phone calls. I purchased the car outright without any financing. I am now concerned that I purchased a car that was sold to me illegally, since the dealership has informed me that do not have the title on hand. They state that without the title, they cannot register the registration for the vehicle. I received notice that plate would be revoked by the state of NC in 3 days today (July 11, 2016). When I spoke to the finance representative ([redacted]) at the dealership, he told me "Don't worry about it."I spoke to [redacted] (General Manager) over this issue, he said that he would call me back within a hour. He did not and my phone calls are not being returned. There have been a number of other issues that have occurred in this transaction that are beyond "questionable". But at this point I am simply too tired to repeat them here.Desired SettlementI am seeking immediate registration transfer as well as immediate receipt of the title.Business Response We apologize for the inconvenience and this issue has been resolved. Sorry for the delay.

This business refuses to contact me back to assist in mechanical warranty refund. I've made multiple attempts and ignored from 4 Hendrick employees. I had a vehicle that I purchased in October of 2015 that has been totaled in which I had a mechanical contract warrenty which is good for 3 years, 36000 miles that I paid $1700 for. As I no longer have the vehicle I'd like a refund. I am not local to Cary and the instructions state to contact the administrator (otherwise you're to go to the dealership) which reads as a corporate office of Hendrick. I have spoken with them and they too have said they'd contact the dealer for me to resolve however, I've again been brushed off. I have emailed the finance manager whom assisted with my original purchase and also left voicemails, he too has ignored. I've called in the morning , midday, and evening and no time seems to be a good time. My mechanical contract number is [redacted] The 2 individuals I've emailed are [redacted] and [redacted]. I do not ever catch the names of who the receptionist transfers me to, but I believe it's been someone different almost every time. Desired SettlementPlease assist in refunding the money for the remainder of the contract. I am not local to Cary, so I need guidance on how to execute this. The vehicle is also totaled so I am not sure how to get a odometer verification outside of the insurance paperwork. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]The ESA was canceled on the 4th of April and the check sent to the lienholder as required. We have attempted to contact the client however his voicemail is full and we are unable to leave a message.
