I have reviewed the response...

made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Regards,
[redacted] I am rejecting this reply from the business because they are hiding behind paperwork that does not address the situation.  They knew at the time of selling me this vehicle that the Navigation system was not reading the CD (hence the CD was in the glove compartment). The true magnitude of this issue was not known by me (but should have been known by the dealer) that once the battery was disconnected and since the CD could not be read, the scope of the problem was much more than the Navigation system not working. it also meant that the radio, bluetooth, back up camera and surround sensors would not work because the CD was needed to reset all these functions. If they had been an honest dealership, their fix would have been to install a new factory radio or after market which would have cost anywhere from $1,000 to $2,200. I mailed the radio off and had it repaired for $350 and am just asking them to take ownership of their poor judgement in not informing me of this issue. So, they did not disclose all this information upon selling me the truck.  I would expect this from some side of the road dealer, but I trusted Hendricks Honda to be a reputable honest dealership - guess I was just taken advantage of.  Also, the fact that [redacted] spoke to me the day I bought the truck regarding the warranty, he told me they would also consider things other than on the warranty because he would not lose my business due to some small issues not covered.  I'd say $350 is a pretty small issue for a large dealership.Thank you,[redacted]

He was not denied financing. See attached approval notice.  The customer opted to back out of the deal.

This complaint  was addressed earlier in the year.  Hendrick Honda Easley has no response different from the original

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Just wish they would of told the truth about the money in the first place.

On August 17, 2015 [redacted] brought his 2007 Accord at 136,410 miles in for the airbag recall.  We were able to complete the driver side but not the passenger side because the glove box would not unlock. (must access for repair).  Customer was unable to open and he agreed to return...

when it could be. Damage was noticed around the glove box as if someone had previously attempted to pry the glove box open.  [redacted] agreed to repair the glove box door if it became necessary to force the door open but that any other damage would be the the customer's responsibility.  When the customer returned on the 27th, the box was still unable to open from the front.  The technician was able to open from the back without force and complete the repair. In as much as the area around the glove box had visible damage on the first visit of the 17th, and that the repair was able to be done without forced opening of the door; Hendrick Honda Easley declines to make any repairs to the dash.As concerns the intermittent problem with the radio, there is no cause and effect relationship to the repairs that were done. Hendrick Honda Easley does not accept responsibility.  Thank you [redacted]

The vehicle that the customer
purchased had around 180k on it. The item that the customer wanted fixed was
not covered under the 1 month 1000 mile warranty.  The  Buyer's Guide signed by the customer is attached

RE[redacted]I apologize that the experience [redacted] had at Hendrick Honda Easley was less that expected. She has been contacted and the problem is resolved. The event was discussed in our management meeting this morning and likely causes identified.  A corrective action plan will...

be put in place to ensure future incidents like this are handled in a timely and satisfactory manner. Sincerely,[redacted], General ManagerHendrick Honda Easley

Mr. and Mrs.[redacted] traded their vehicle in after working with our General Sales Manager.  They texted him after the fact that they were very satisfied.  “Awesome man!! Thanks so...

much for all your help and you honesty we appreciate this a lot! We will be coming back to you in the future!”
We never deviated from our process from the beginning in working with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. That is to say we didn’t do anything different as a result of their complaint.
I infer from their non-specific postings that they were very frustrated by circumstance beyond our control and were venting it on face book and the Revdex.com.
If not closed then please contact them.  If their response is something other than positive I would be surprised.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my...

complaint. The letter from SC consumer complaint office does not include any documents about securing the vehicle or financing. After my first visit to the dealership, I did not get any financing information from neither banks nor the dealer on the following week of 4/1/2017. Instead, the dealer told me that none of their banks would like to help me on financing the vehicle since my credit background is not accpetable for them. Therefore, unless I could get an auto loan on my side, otherwise I wouldn't be able to purchase the car and the dealer of course would not release the car without a secured finance, meaning no purchase would happen at that moment. After such incident, I tried to reach out to my own bank and find anotehr dealership that could possibly help me on finance. A few days later, my own bank got me pre-approved auto loan. Again, before I got my own pre-approved auto loan, the dealership failed to help me on financing. This reason is convincing enough to ask my partial payment of $500 back.TL;DR, I need the following information from the dealer in their next response,1. Information of locating the vehicle. (Proof of the dealership had been working hard on my case)2. Information of my financing from the dealer's bank (To show Revdex.com that the dealer failed to help me on financing in the beginning, before I could get my own pre-approved auto loan.)

I had no problems with the radio until they fixed airbag and the dash was not damaged on the front when I took it to them it was scratched on the side.  They are liars I will not return to Hendrick honda for any more service.

Regards,
Russell R[redacted]I was never "met" with to discuss the repairs of the vehicle. I was told thru an email by Jerome Truhn, after I sent an email requesting someone from management to contact me about the situation. Email from 10/31/2016 @ 11:29 am stating they would contact me when the repairs are made to the vehicle. The other, most interesting thing about all of this came with a phone call from the dealership on Tuesday, November 1st. Mike, the used car director at Hendrick Honda.. He left me a voice message stating they have looked at the car and made the following repairs:*New Fuel Pump*New WindshieldNow, I was told by Jerome on the day of delivery of the vehicle from Concord NC that the delay of the vehicle arriving was because the vehicle wouldn't make it, so they decided to replace the fuel pump. After the vehicle arrived and I waited for it, I was told it had more issues, and they were working on getting everything fixed. And the last part of this is when I finally test drove the vehicle on Friday, October 28 @ approx. 8:00pm, I was told by Jerome that "everything is repaired, they replaced the fuel pump and everything seems to be running good". So, which is it? You said the dealership in Concord replaced the fuel pump, but didn't. You stated again before I test drove it, that Hendrick Honda Easley replaced the fuel pump... but didn't. Not until Tuesday, November 1st was the fuel pump ever replaced. The bottom line is that you brought in a car that needed repair, a car I paid $500 for you to do so. It needed repairs. You didn't do the repairs (fuel pump) that you stated you did, before sending me home with the car October 28th, with 1 hour drive to home. You, as my salesman and dealership LIED, twice... I have witnesses on both occasions. the first witness was with me when I first arrived... Joshua Roach of Seneca South Carolina. The second witness with me when I took a test drive was Kevin Fender, from Hendersonville North Carolina. Now, I'm asking you as the person (s) reading this and responding, and also the public that will read this message... would you be happy with what has been provided from a dealership, one that is very large, and has a huge network of dealers? I have been taken advantage of, both in money paying for a car that needed work, but also by you, a dealer I come to to buy a car, and one that ends up making me out to be a fool.  Refund in full, Requested.

A check payable to the customer for $150 to be used at her discretion is being processed.  It will be mailed to her.

[redacted]'s $500 partial payment charge will be credited back to her credit card.  Her salesperson will contact her to begin the process.
