Henkel Harris

Review: In February of 2013 we found out that Henkel Harris was going out of business. Since we already had several pieces of their furniture we knew it was of high quality and made in the USA. We contacted Henkel Harris factory and several other furniture companies in VA and ordered several pieces of furniture. One of the pieces was a credenza ordered direct from the Henkel Harris factory. When ordering the credenza we were told by the Customer Service Manager at Henkel Harris that Henkel Harris had made some [redacted] credenzas that were the same as the [redacted] credenza we wanted except that the top of the [redacted] was wood and the [redacted] had veneer, other than that they were the same. We ordered [redacted] based on the Manager's word as the representative of Henkel Harris that we were getting the credenza with the same front as the [redacted] and just the top was different. However, that was not the case. The [redacted] credenza is totally different from the [redacted] and looks unfinished. I made numerous phone calls to the Customer Service Manager (###-###-####) who had worked for the old Henkel Harris Co. and was hired by the new company. I spoke several times with a representative of the old Henkel Harris Co. at ###-###-####. I wrote several letters (one by certified mail) to Mr. Henkel requesting that he exchange the unfinished [redacted] credenza for the [redacted] credenza since I had been misinformed on what I was purchasing. I had purchased many pieces of the Henkel Harris furniture and this one piece did not match the others and was not of the same quality. The pictures attached show the [redacted] with its inlays of wood & the other picture is of the [redacted]. The difference is very evident. I also contacted the new Henkel Harris Co.(###-###-####)but they refused to support their product name. The attached correspondence gives the full details. I have been so disappointed. With all of the phone calls and correspondence, none of the individuals with Henkel Harris returned my calls or answered my letters except for afew emails.Desired Settlement: We would appreciate if Henkel Harris would exchange the [redacted] credenza for the [redacted] credenza. The [redacted] credenza matches the other Henkel Harris pieces we purchased. Thank you for your assistance.
