Review: Since I have written them and they Declined a refund based on the fact that my item was monogrammed, they are refusing to refund my money however the site has changed its return policy section slightly since I originally filed the complaint. I have a copy of the original. It is very misleading when you apply for the monogram portion however again they have changed some things since I originally sent to email. I am Asking for a full refund on my handbag as I purchased the wrong item and have since purchased the bag that I originally meant to purchase.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a full refund on a poorly written return policy that is since been changed.

Review: I was sent an email announcement from the Club at OakBrookMall for an invite to Henri Bendel Holiday VIP Party at Oakbrook Center. The invite clearly stated FIRST 100 GUESTS will receive a gift bag. So we visited the store in the cold only to be totally humiliated by a black sales woman's attitude and ignorance of the manager who insisted gift bag was for customers who make a purchase!

I was going to purchase a watch, and the same saleswoman asked Is this all?Desired Settlement: I want the store to honor giving the gift bag to GUESTS

So I asked them to exchange to new one

But they doesn't reply me properly, they reply me once a week.

I'm keep sending emails but nothing change n no sorry. Never.

I'm so stressed out because it seems never solved.

All I want them to do is exchange my bag

But they told me I have to send them back with my money which costs around $100, and I have to order again so I need another shipping money and tax.

Why I have to send back my order is not my fault.

This is because Henri bendel gave me a broken bag.

Why I have to pay for send them back n order again n pay for shipping.

I'm keep emailing to henribendel but they don't answer me.

So I don't know what to do.

And I don't wanna pay for return my bag cz it's not totally my fault.

If it's gonna be hard for them, I just want return n refund for my bag but I'm not gonna pay for returning shippipment.

I will go fix broken parts " I don't know if it's possible n what's the costs" store near by so, henribendel gonna pay for fixing bag.

Review: For Christmas I was given a [redacted] handbag and wallet purchased at their location in [redacted] in Huntington,NY. I barely used the bag and around the end of February, after having the bag for about 2 months, I started to notice the material around the handles was tearing/cracking and the handles felt like they were going to snap. Before this purchase was made the [redacted] promised that we would be able to return the product if there was any damage or issues to occur as long as it was within a year of the purchase. Unfortunately I did not keep the tags because it was a Christmas gift and I do not have the receipts but since it was purchased on a credit card we were able to obtain a copy of the statement showing the purchase. When I contacted their customer service I spoke to a very rude representative who basically told me too bad we have no type of warranty on our merchandise and we cannot offer you anything. To me as a consumer this is unsatisfactory, I was given the [redacted]s word in the store that we would be able to return it if anything were to defect or if there were any issues and then I'm being told too bad. My mom contacted her credit card company to dispute the charge and then when they contacted [redacted], they suddenly wanted to offer a merchandise credit which I don't feel is satisfactory. There is nothing in their store that I want to purchase. I already purchased a new handbag in the interim so I wouldn't be using the defective merchandise. They expect me to buy candles or jewelry which I don't need any of. I'm just very upset because I thought [redacted] had quality merchandise but apparently they do not. All I would like is a refund of my money because they do not live up to their business practices and do not know how to satisfy their customers.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of what I paid for the handbag and wallet which total $393.87 and then I will be satisfied.

Review: A sales associate at a Henri Bendel retail store made a verbal commitment to me that I could return the product if there were any quality issues or product defects within one year of my purchase. I was unfamiliar with the Henri Bendel brand, so the sales associate's assurance played an instrumental role in my decision to purchase the $200 leather wallet. After three months, I noticed serious quality issues/defects with the wallet. Yesterday, I brought the item (leather wallet) back to the retail store with original packaging and the receipt to return the product. After I explained the problem in detail to the store manager, she told me nothing could be done. She told me that I should call their corporate number. This customer service is unacceptable, the store engaged in unethical sales practices, and they failed to honor a commitment that their sales associate made.Desired Settlement: Refund and better customer service.

Review: Account was recently opened 01/**/2016 and I made a one time charge as of the next day another duplicate charge occurred and then another and another. 4 duplicate charges were made. I called the company every day for a week in which I was assured account would be placed on hold so that no other charges would occur but it continued until credit card was maxed out. Also an actual 3 way call between myself, credit card company and business purchase was made through in which the business stated to the credit card company only 1 charge was made and there was an issue with the site that was making multiple charges. Henri Bendel has not tried hard enough to rectify the situation. They have not responded to my emails or returned any of my calls. I have called them everyday for a week and get conflicting statements on every call. I do not understand this poor customer service. They stated that they knew and could see this was fraudulent charges yet they did nothing to stop them.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund my credit card for the duplicate charges and this to be removed from my credit report. Company has a known computer glich that is constantly duplicating charges for over a week and done nothing to stop it. Customer Service is extremely poor
