Review: I moved back on April 19th and at First the service was going fine. But when I we got to my new apartment the movers told me that putting beds together "wasn’t their thing", even though I was told that was a part of the service. I told them I had the instructions and tools and they said they left the screws at my old place. I specifically reminded them when breaking the bed down to bring the screws. They said it would be an extra charge to make another trip and that they couldn’t do it. I found bed screws outside of my old and new apartment so I had to go and buy all new sets to put my bed together.

After they rushed out I noticed they broke my dresser and tried to hide it by shoving the damaged wood pieces underneath it. I also discovered my covered water jug of change had all be stolen. ( Yeah I get I shouldn’t have left it out ) But really they stole $20 worth of change and a lottery scratcher.

I have been calling over and over demanding some type of reimbursement with Henry for over a month. His employees broke my dresser, did not put the two beds together, lost the screws to the beds, and stole all the money from a change drawer. He said that he sent a check for and I have yet to get it. I am always told to call back and talk to another person, who is never there; I also believe he is screening his phone for my cell phone calls. This company is ridiculous and has terrible service.Desired Settlement: I want a partial refund delivered to me or somewhere I can pick it up because they obviously do not want to send the check- $150

Review: I moved a couple of weeks ago with my original moving company cancelling on me 2 days prior. I was thrilled when Henry's Moving Company said they could move me on such late notice. The guys did a decent job, however they overcharged me. Fine, that wasn't a problem, I just included with an additional tip I gave them. Conveniently, when they called into the office the credit card machine down. Okay, not a problem, I paid them $200 cash with no receipt in hand b/c they didn't have paperwork on them. I contacted Henry on 4 different occasions (2 emails & 2 calls) for a receipt. Once I finally received the receipt, it was not a legitimate company receipt, he sent me a receipt through an app called paydirt. Okay, fine, people use apps all the time. However, I have reason to believe that something suspicious is going on with his business practices. Not only was it difficult to get a receipt out of him, he signed himself up with paydirt using my email address and now I keep getting emails from paydirt with "Hello Henry". To top it off I can't even unsubscribe b/c he signed me up. His business practices seem suspicious and unprofessional, and I would not want someone else to deal with this annoyance.Desired Settlement: For my email to be removed from the paydirt app as Henry, and for them to issue legitimate company receipts.

Review: I hired this moving company to perform services on October 31, 2013. The movers was suppose to arrive at 11:00 am but didn't arrive until 1:00 pm. They told me that they were delayed because they wanted to try to fit in another job before they go to me. They were not all concern about my time yet only concerned about making extra cash. However, this is the reason I scheduled the move in the first place because I had other important matters to take care of that day. Once the movers got there they were rushing to move my belongings by piling them any kind of way on their small truck. After the move was finished, the driver got very disrespectful with me because he was tried to get more money than what was originally discussed. He began to act very threatening. Although he called [redacted], the owner, and I tried talking to him as well, he was just as rude. They insisted that I had to pay them more for the move yet never took into consideration how my time was wasted that day. I later found that my new stereo was broken during the move by the movers and some of my glass tables very badly scratched. I will never use this company again!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a complete refund due to damages to my furniture.

Review: I used this company for moving services in March 2013. Although they were late and didn't protect my furniture or other items when moving, I needed to move quickly and overall did not have a complaint with their services. The company only accepts cash payments and I did not receive a receipt after the move.

Although it has been a year and a half since the move, I now have to submit a receipt for moving services in response to a claim. I forwarded Henry the moving confirmation e-mail I received at the time of the move, and asked if I could be provided a receipt. After several calls and e-mails to Henry (and a false promise that he was going to send me a receipt), I still have not received a response from Henry to resolve this issue. The company requests that customers pay in cash, but refuses to provide proof of payment. I am not sure if this company just refuses to provide good customer service, or they do not wish to be transparent with their financial records. But I am entitled to a receipt for a service that I paid for.Desired Settlement: A receipt for my payment of moving services

Review: On Dec 31st, 2012, we requested services from Henry Moving Company, and after arriving two hour late they conducted our move, to our new location. During the move some of our furniture was damaged. We promptly e-mailed Henry Moving Company our issues, and provided picture to document the proof of damage. My wife e-mailed them repeatedly over the next two months, and they did not respond to any of our e-mails. I call them directly around 1 March 2013 to find out the status. “Henry” picked up the phone and upon explaining the problem, he stated that he had been out for the last two months, and that is why he has not responded to any of our request. He then informed me that it would take 2-3 days to address this issue with his insurance company. Since then I have called and left voice messages for him to respond and provide me updates. He continues to screen my calls and does not answer my phone calls. When we call from different numbers, he will answer our call. As of 1 April, he has stated that the insurance company is working the issue, he does not want to upset insurance company by pushing for a status and that the issue could take a month.Desired Settlement: We are requesting a few items:

A e-mail from Henry Moving Company stating he has received our documents and date he submitted our claim.

A e-mail from Henry Moving company stating the expected date of claim completion and a status on why the delays.

A e-mail or certified document from Henry Moving Company; Since “Mr. Henry” is not providing us detailed information, we would like information relating to his insurance company so that we can go direct with them to address our issues.

Review: I had this company locally move me. One of the two movers took responsibility for breaking my dining set. I was asked to send information to the company. They were to forward my information to their insurance company. Then reimburse for the damage. It has been two months, I have not heard anything. When I try to follow-up with an email, I am not getting a reply. Calling is unsuccessful, no one is answering the provided number.Desired Settlement: I would like to either be reimbursed the cost of the damaged dining set or refunded my moving cost.

Review: The 2 member moving team arrived at 3:00pm to start a move on a one bedroom house. The movers were very slow and didn't finish packing the truck for 3 hours. When the move was done the storage unit, I had reserved was closed. I had to find another storage facility that was still open at that time. We eventually found one, moving from the truck to the storage unit took an additional 3 hours. It got to the point, to where I was helping, just to get the job done faster.

I feel as thought since the movers get paid hourly. There is not a rush or urgency to complete the job in the quoted amount of time. Would this moving company's records indicate if there is a job that has been completed in the quoted amount of time?Desired Settlement: A receipt or confirmation email should be sent once the job is done and payment is made.

The movers damaged my TV, they admitted to damaging my TV, while speaking with owner on the following week, the owner spoke with me about purchasing another television to replace the damaged one. However, he then avoided all my communication (I've called and left several messages) after a week of speaking. The issue is still open and has not been resolved.

Review: I hired Henrys Moving company to move my furniture from one apartment to another within the same complex on Saturday September 20th. They were hired based on a recommendation from my neighbor, and after me checking their website to ensure they were a legitimate company The movers damaged my furniture that is less than two years old. The crew dropped my mirror, which they did notify me of while on site. Upon further inspection of my furniture later on in the day, I noticed that there was extensive damage to my furniture in other locations, up to 7 different areas. Also when I laid down in my bed, it felt very unstable and was squeaking excessively. I called the owner of Henry, first thing the next morning to notify him of the damages I also sent him several pictures that showed in detail the damages. I told him that his crew did not wrap my furniture, which I had requested when I made the appointment that they do. Also notified him that his crew member had informed me of the damage to my mirror . He told me he would speak the the crew member and call me right back. I waited for I'm to call me back on Sunday September 21st. He never returned my call. I called him on Monday September 22, 2014. He did not pick up my call despite me leaving several messages and sending an email through the company website. When I finally was able to speak with him, he said he would speak to his partner and return my call by the end of the business day. Again he did not return my call. I called him on Tuesday 9/23/14 and asked him if there was any progress on my issues. I also asked him for the process on filing a claim with his companies insurance carrier (he refused to give me the information). The owner them proceeded to tell me that he would call me again. After about 30 minutes , I get a phone call from the crew member that moved my furniture. The crew member told me that his boss told him to call me and talk to me about the damaged furniture. The staff member called me from his personal cellphone number, which is very unprofessional on the owners part for giving my number to a crew member to discuss damaged furniture. I called the owner of Henrys back and requested that he resolve my issues or I will file a complaint with Revdex.com and small claims. He then started yelling at me and proceeded to hangup the phone .Desired Settlement: I am requesting that Henry Moving company immediately disclose their insurance company information, in order that I may submit a claim or they need to send a professional carpenter to fix my furniture, or they need to replace my furniture. I am also requesting an apology from the Owner for yelling at me in a threatening manner that made me feel unsafe, especially due to the fact that his company has my name and home address. I feel very unsafe. I am also requesting an apology for the stress this has caused me in trying to resolve the issue with this company. I am requesting that if Henry Moving company is not insured, they need to remove the statement on the website that states that they are, in order to prevent my experience from repeating itself with other consumers. Also Henrys moving does not have an address listed anywhere on its website, and upon review of Revdex.com site, its seems as though the address listed is a fake address. If the owner of Henrys does not resolve my dispute, I will take this to court for resolution.
