To whom it may concern the plaintiff in fact purchased a Groupon for 49.00 for our service we did in fact go out to her home...

inspected the home our coupon honors 1furnance only the plaintiffs home had 3 furnances which in fact were running without filters since November 2013 after inspection of this we did not want to assume responsibility for contaminated her blower motors she refused to allow us to clean the blower motors which needed to be done.She never informed us of these issues not to mention she had 2 more furnance s that weren't covered by the coupon our advertisement states clearly 1furnance cleaning she had 2 additional furnance with no filters which is not good you must have liters in your system she was not honest with us when she called her home required much more work than the coupon honored we were not gonna put ourselves in a situation to where if we did perform the work her system blower motors would get totally contaminated we declined to service her home the plaintiff was offered a refund through our company in the amount of 49.00 her cost for the Groupon she declined the refund and insisted on us performing the work at that point I phoned my technician asked him to kindly dismiss his self from her home.The plaintiff has not been honest with us nor the Revdex.com she in fact has not made a complaint to Groupon nor has she requested a refund from Groupon where the coupon was originally purchased through.She hasn't at no point requested a refund we offered her a refund the day of the incident and she had declined.If she wanted a refund why hasn't she asked Groupon for a full refund of 49.00.Why has she declined our offer to fully refund her personally through a company check.The plaintiff should read terms of coupons and what's offered her home required much more work than the 49.00groupon offer and we do have the right to refuse a job if we feel we would jeopardize her system.Her furnance were not installed correctly and we weren't taking responsibility for cobtiminating it by cleaning the system that's been running for nearly 6 months and has NO filters.The plaintiff is more than welcome to her 49.00 refund either by Groupon or by our conpany.If Groupon refuses to refund her money back we will be more than happy to refund it back to her personally.If she chooses to get her refund through Groupon we'd like receipt of it so we may close this issue.The plaintiff is trying to manipulate the system into getting a double refund one from Groupon and another from the company.We will gladly refund her 49.00 promptly if Groupon won't.We aren't gonna refund her money than have her turn around and get a refund from Groupon which is exactly what the manipulator is trying to do.We will be personally contacting Groupon to see if she has been giving a refund if she has not we will gladly refund her money upon receipt she hasn't already been refunded.Sincerely Henrys duct cleaning (henry [redacted]) XXX-XXX-XXXX main contact number

I am angry with Henry's Duct Cleaning because he did NOT honor the voucher after he learned he failed to sale me more services. His original intent was to get more money out of me. I fully understand the services advertised in the deal and wanted only those services. Yes, I have three apartments with three furnaces. I only wanted one apartment serviced with the voucher I purchase. Prior to purchasing the voucher, I called Henry's Duct Cleaning to
1) understand the services offered in the voucher and
2)explain what duct cleaning services I needed. Henry's Duct Cleaning was fully aware of my situation and assured me that they could help. I then purchased the voucher. I didn't share with them about filters not being on the furnace because I didn't know there were no filters on the furnace. I had no reason to lie to them. I wanted the service they promised AND I purchased to be performed. Although they tried to sell me more services on site, I don't remember motor cleaning being one of them. I believe all of his reasons for not honoring the voucher are simply excuses he made up on site the day of. The owner was verbally abuse, disrespectful and unprofessional with me when I expressed my concern. He yelled I wasted his time when the fact is he wasted mine. This is a classic example of bait and switch. Henry's Duct cleaning service has not been honest with me nor the Revdex.com. They DID NOT offer me a refund the day of. If they had I would NOT have refused it because they did NO work. I filed the same exact complaint with Groupon as I did with the Revdex.com. I received a refund and big apology from Groupon. The only manipulator is Henry's Duct Cleaning. They did not offer me a refund and I am sure Groupon informed them of my complaint. Groupon responded almost immediately to my complaint and tried very hard to make it right. They also followed up several times afterward. Henry's Duct Cleaning did no such thing. Once they saw they couldn't squeeze more money out of me they threw me away with the trash. An old lesson was confirmed. "You get what you pay for!" I knew $49 vent cleaning was too good to be true. My major concern is making other unsuspecting home owners aware of this company and its poor business ethics.

Henry's Duct Cleaning Specialist the second company that I had found on [redacted]. Spoke with Mr. Henry personally on the phone sent a guy from his company out, the guy was on time he cleaned my vents and the Returned vent. Very pleased with the work that was done, now my whole house is warm, actually had to turn the heat down. The guy that came out was very nice he explained everything that he would do and also cleaned up after himself. Was so into his job he forgot his coat, and it was cold outside. Well done job....

great customer service.To get this resolved once and for all this customer for 1 is not the owner of the home its a lets say girlfriend she is the owner not once has she complained about the service nor this $150.00 we promised to refund.We did a service call to the customers home performed duct cleaning a free estimate once we finished this estimate and did the inspection it was discovered the home had more vents more returns more mains than the coupon offered at a discounted price for our services additional costs were assessed the estimate was given to the customer the price and work needed to be done was agreed upon and the contract of work to be done was signed we went on to perform the work at the end of completing the work some talk than took place to the price ,being a good business and we take our customers values to be extremely important and we strive to make every customer happy ,we than in fact reduced his costs by $150.00 we took that off the entire bill he was given a discount off the price that we originally agreed on this customer already received a $150.00 discount cause we in fact do our best to please each customer again this customer complaining is NOT the owner of the home hes NOT the legal owner hes a visitor plain and simple yet he continues to slander HENRYS DUCT CLEANING putting bad reviews after bed reviews when in fact he lives elsewhere he also tried to get money back from ANGIES LIST where the coupon was purchased and it was declined that case was closed against us because in fact he already gotten a $150.00 discount off the quote of work (which included much more work and labor than what the actual coupon offered) it was discussed and because financial hardship we were kind enough to give this additional $150.00 there was a great deal of labor involved ,and yes there than came a problem with the heat that would not stay on we acted on this problem asap as soon as humanly possible we went back out the very next morning less than 12 hours after the work was performed an additional technician licensed in the electrical field was hired on our time paid by us once they arrived the problem resulted in the switch that turned the system on/off obviously it was plain innocent human error on our techs part.We could not get a tech out the night he called(THE DAY OF ORIGINAL SERVICE CALL ) it was just too late but we made every attempt too find a tech in the area but just were unable to do so do to the time of night it was we were back out @8am the following morning and the flip of the switch turned the unit back on.In this case we are uncertain whos fault this was cause this customer is simply out to get my company slander me and my good name for all we know he turned it off and cried wolf and we took the blame but being a honest company owner (CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT) I hired an electrician my out of pocket costs in the amount of $200.00 to trouble shoot problem which took a whole 5 minutes to discover yet this gentleman keeps pursuing us for an additional $150.00 which we are not giving not refunding this service call to the home costed us a great deal of time labor not to mention extra costs for the certified technician ,we are a duct cleaning and mold remediation removal company we are not electricians so we felt it was in our best interests to hire a certified electrician to handle the problem who as well met me and came back out to the home less than 12 hours after the duct cleaning was performed.This gentleman refuses to go away a $150.00 discount was applied to the bill of sales and deducted from the total costs hes still insisting on an additional $150.00 which he is not gonna get absolutely not through angies lists another complaint was filed and closed he tried for money back from them and was denied he is not the home owner hes not the legal owner of this home its a lady friend of his in fact we have not heard one complaint from the original owner not one complaint its all this gentleman and he wont stop he keeps insisting a tech of ours offered him a refund of $150.00 for the minor problem well this is (hear say) our tech denies this and all our techs know the proper procedure for the request of a refund it MUST go through proper channels and paperwork submitted to corporate office for approval and reason for such refund, no paperwork nor request took place no approval was given like I have stated he said she said does not give approval for such refund ,as with any company things like this must go through proper channels and nothing did.This gentleman has been harassing us from day one slandering us complaints after complaints with no legal right no legal right whatsoever HE IS NOT THE HOME OWNER !!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress that enough the case through angies lists was closed his complaint closed without refund found in our favor they labled it unresolved due to the fact we tried to get him to go away sort of speak so we offered his lady friend a free duct cleaning in the next 3 years as it is reccommended to do to keep your system running efficiently (HE REFUSED THE OFFER ) he wants an additional $150.00 on top of the already $150.00 we took off his work order bill of sales (i should say her bill of sales ) the original home owner this is very upsetting to our company we did everything humanly possible and the issue with the heat was resolved within a 12 hr margin with us paying a certified electrician $200.00 for travel time and lets say labor which took a whole 5 minutes to resolve ,we just dont know what more we can do here a $150.00 was taken off the bill we hired a certified electrician in the amount of $200.00 we offered a free duct cleaning in 3 years which is a wise choice to keep the system running properly we did everything everything to show good faith we can not offer any more we will not offer an additional $150.00 on top of the $150.00 already that was reduced from the signed contract which in fact might we add was not the price quoted it was higher in costs due to the fact of extra vents returns mains and the system contaminated with mold which required a mold removal /sanitizer which kills the mold and also prevents it from growing back along with a 3 year guaranty ,at this point we regret this problem but we feel we went above and beyond to please this man again a visitor to the home not home owner.The estimated costs as a breakdown duct work was $350.00 furnance cleaning was $49.95 total is $399.95 we gave him a discount to the costs of $249.95 this was the bill of sales to which was paid as you can see there was a $150.00 discount given.We are absolutely stressed out on this situation the complaints ,the slander to our company and it just doesnt stop for all we know he cut the furnance off that night we dont know WHO's fault this was but yet we stepped up and took responsibility for it and as time goes on the harassing the complaints the requests to angies lists for money back for months now we are believing this was all his doing and not human error on our part.As I stated this was investigated by angies lists and case closed as unresolved due to the fact the offer of a free duct cleaning to the entire home in 3years was declined all he wants is money and he aint getting no more than what we had already given as you can see a $150.00 discount applied already to the total costs of work he is a extremely hard man he must think we owe an additional $150.00 on top of the already $150.00 in other words does he honestly think the duct work on his ladies friends home (NOT HIS HOME ) would only costs at the end $49.95 absolutely ridiculous this man is trying to get over on us more than he already did and we cant allow that to happen.We did all that we could in a human efficiently time manner corrected in a 5 minute visit costs for the electrician billed to our company for travel time,labor which was a outrageous cost for a 5 minute flip of a switch that very well might off been a issue he created and blamed us for.Again a free duct cleaning was offered a value of $89.95 minus sanitizer (thats additional if needed ) that was declined through angies lists so at this point we are hoping this does not effect our reputation any more than whats it been doing through all his complaints all over the internet and angies lists and doesnt effect our excellent customer service grade with have with the Revdex.com weve gone out of our way ,way beyond what most other companies would do to try to please this man but all he wants is money ,we sure would like to know where the homeowner is and why she has not made ONE complaint to us why is that ?????? I would like to respond to the owners rambling, run-on-sentence filled tirade as well as the lies and accusations he has made in his responses.
1.) The agreed-upon price BEFORE work started was $300 for duct cleaning and furnace cleaning. I actually rejected their first estimate of $425 because it was too high. After a couple of days they called back and said that they would do the job for $300. This price was for the work to be completed satisfactorily. The work was not completed satisfactorily. The technician, who is the owners brother, failed to check to make sure the furnace was working before he left. As a result, the temperature in the house went down to 50° before the problem was resolved the next day.
2.) When the owners brother returned the next day, it took him some time to determine that my furnace needed a new part and that he was going to go to the store to get it. He then changed his mind and decided that he wanted his electrician brother-in-law to come by and look at the furnace. It took additional time for him to call his brother-in-law and for him to travel to the house. He quickly determined that a reset button had not been pushed. So once the problem was diagnosed the fix was very quick and easy but it took quite awhile for the problem to be diagnosed correctly. It was close to 11 o'clock Saturday morning by the time they left. As far as I know, the brother-in-law isn't even an employee of the company.
3.) I did not request a refund. It was offered by the owners brother for the inconvenience of having such cold temperatures in the house as well as the fact that we had to wait to leave the house until the work was completed. So to imply that somehow I sabotaged my own furnace in the hopes of getting a money offer is completely ridiculous. I'm lucky that a part on my furnace that was perfectly good wasn't replaced as a result of the technicians incompetence. The owners claim that somehow the $150 was given before the work completely contradicts the timing of his brothers offer. Not to mention that 425 - 300 = 125 and not 150!
4.) Whether or not I'm the owner of the house is irrelevant because the $150 offer was offered to us for the inconvenience that "my lady friend" and I experienced. However, I am the legal owner of this house and have been for many years. My "lady friend" is not! To suggest otherwise is an outright lie and constitutes slander! Let me repeat, I AM THE OWNER! I demand all references to me not being the homeowner removed in all of their complaints and responses or they risk legal action!
5.) Regarding the Angieslist complaint, Angie's list is not a court of law. They don't issue any rulings. Our conflict has been classified as a "stalemate" and not "found in our favor" as the owner claims. In that complaint however the owner said "we believe there was a misunderstanding between you and the techs pertaining to the $150". Now he claims that I made this whole thing up. He says that his "tech" denies this and that the offer made is "hear say". Does he realize that his entire response is hearsay because he has never stepped foot on my property and first learned of the problem when I called him directly?
As far as their counter offer is concerned, why would I want such an incompetent, dishonest company back in my home for any reason? The only acceptable remedy is for this company to honor their word (like most companies would) for a sloppy job that created substantial inconvenience and issue me a check for $150 and a receipt for the work done. What kind of company can't even provide a receipt? The fact the brother made an offer he wasn't "authorized" to make isn't my problem. The owner has no firsthand knowledge of any of the events or conversations that transpired.
The owner's response is unsatisfactory! I want a receipt (which the owner has yet to address) and the $150 that was promised.

The business has not adequately responded to any of my requests, including the promise of August 26. Even when they say they will do something they don't do it. I am also still requesting a refund of the $150 dollars as well as removal of all references to me not being the homeowner. They are blatant liars. The response is not accepted.
