Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:On 01/14/2016, I spoke with [redacted] in regards to damaged evaporator coil unit [redacted] did say he would try to repair the evaporator coil unit, but I would have to purchase TXV valve through them at their costI refused to pay for TXV valve due to it was in working condition prior to removal and I did not destroy itWe were not able to come to an agreement for a resolution in this matter Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:On 01/14/2016, I spoke with [redacted] in regards to damaged evaporator coil unit. [redacted] did say he would try to repair the evaporator coil unit, but I would have to purchase TXV valve through them at their cost. I refused to pay for TXV valve due to it was in working condition prior to removal and I did not destroy it. We were not able to come to an agreement for a resolution in this matter.

In regards to the complaint #11024295, we wish to resolve with Mr [redacted].  We have spoken with our technician and he has stated that as the installer and servicer of the equipment all procedures were performed in a manner to provide the best quality installation possible for the customer....

 Prior to the install there was no mention of the previous equipment to be re-used.  The coil was cut with wire cutting pliers due to the refrigerant line being so close to the unit.  Even with the way the coil was cut, it has not been destroyed; minor repairs could be made in order to make the coil suitable for re-use.  Although the coil could be repaired, had we known that it was for re-use of the customer, the cut would have been performed differently to accommodate the customer's wishes.  Our technician stated that the only mention of the coil was that we did not need to dispose of old equipment because of a cousin, or uncle wanted to sell for scrap.  This was stated at the end of the job.  Our technician even returned to the job a few days later to follow up and there was no mention of the coil being in any condition.  It wasn't till a few days later that Mr [redacted] contacted [redacted], the HVAC Supervisor, of his problem of the coil.  In which we advised our technician to give Mr [redacted] a call to discuss the above issue and our technician did on Thursday (12/17/15) @ 5:45pm.  Mr [redacted] did not answer nor respond to the phone call.  We feel that as the installing company of the equipment, we properly did our part, as stated before our customer's satisfaction, is and has been a top priority to our company and our company policy.  We tried to resolve the issue with Mr [redacted] by returning his phone call to discuss how we could accomodate and go over the issue.  Any questions of this above complaint, please feel free to call the office to speak with the technician, [redacted], or the HVAC Supervisor, [redacted] Chambers.  Thank you for your concern and time for this matter.[redacted]
