I have used Henwood Construction many times over the last four years They have done a concrete patio, laid floor tiles, remodeled two bathrooms completely and one partial bathroom As well as many smaller projectsAlways pleasure to work with Very capable, though and clean up after themselves Have also referred them to othersThey are the first I call when I need a job done
We had a concrete driveway installed in August of 2017; by February it had stared to chip and flake In March we called Henwod Construction and they came to look at it and told us he would have his concrete supplier come by to look at it We didn't hear back from him; we called him weekly from March through June in the beginning of June we finally spoke with him and he asked if it was getting worse, we told him yes it wasHe told us it was due to salt He said that he would come over to talk to us and we have not heard from his since We have called and left messages and emailed but he has not contacted us We did not apply salt to the driveway during the winter and we realize that salt will come off of our vehicles but the driveway looks horrible for being less than a year old
We hired this company to do front stepsDecorative stamped concreteWhen they built firms for the steps it slanted down to much at an anglePrior to pouring I brought that up and was told it would be correctedThe next day the owners son was to seal and put a grit over steps so not to be slipperyUpon looking at steps he mentioned the steps angled down quite a bit and even took a look but only told me he would put more grit on steps? I told him we didn't like idea they were at such a steep angle and was concerned of someone falling? weeks ago he came by and I showed him again and he said they would come by to fix issue as they had job nearbyAlso the concrete chipped already and we spent winter in AZ so nobody has even driven on it! As of today nobody has stopped to correct issue
Dan and Mat remodeled our master bedroom and baththey added windows and enlarged the master baththey were very professionalthey checked with us prior to doing specific things at every step, which was exceptional, because we ended up changing several things last minutethey were a pleasure to work withwouldnt hesitate to use them again or refer them to othersthanks for doing such a great job, we love it!
I had my driveway poured by Henwood Construction,they accidentally broke the bottom stair corner of my porch, which is also concreteMatt assured me he or his crew would be back to repair the stairThat was May 3, I have reached out to Matt and Dan several times, via phone call , voicemail , and text., On June 29th at 8:am Matt told me via text "I'm going to head up there this AM to patch that for you" He never showed upHe doesn't reply to my texts or messages since thenI called Dan, because I was truly concerned that something had happened to Matt, Dan said that Matt was "fine" and he (Dan) would send someone out to repair the stairAgain, no one has showed upI have spoken to Dan once since then , and told the same thing
This has been going on over months!

I viewed 100+ driveways prior to hiring them to do my concrete driveway, front steps and sidewalkI was very impressed by the examples of their work that I viewedUnfortunately our concrete didn't turn out like the examples we viewedOur driveway took pours because of the size of it and theres a big variance in the colors of the Also some of the saw cuts are off and it was chipped in some places before we'd had a chance to even walk on itI dont know if it was more difficult because of the sheer size of the driveway or whatI never got to meet with them face to face to talk over the issues with the workI understand they couldn't fix the saw cuts but they told me I could fix the color difference by resealing the concreteMy question was why am I attempting to fix what I paid them $16,to do in the first place? They made no effort to fix my issues whatsoever, only coached me on how to fix them myselfUnfortunate and disappointedI was hopeful that I would be able to use them for many future projects
