Mercedes-Benz of Boston agreed to pay Ms***"s last payment and the mileage penaltiesWe paid this in the form of a $check payable to *** *** *** ***At the time Ms*** leased this vehicle she was in arrears with one payment and had not reimbursed *** *** *** *** for the Excise Tax that they paid on her behalfSo, the remaining balance of one payment, excise tax, sales tax on the payment and the late fee are Ms***"s responsibilityThis adds up to just about $It was made very clear to her that we are never responsible for late payments or excise tax. I am personally sorry that Ms*** still feels the need to pursue thisIt is clear that we have fulfilled our obligations completely. We will not make any payments toward her former lease that she clearly owes

Per Mercedes-Benz response to the Revdex.com, the company has acknowledged they agreed to make my "last payment". This payment is still outstanding, it has not been paid as of 9/2/15. [redacted]-[redacted] [redacted] has made the dealership aware that the last two payments due for August & September are still not paid when I traded the vehicle in April. Since the manager has now confirmed in writing they are responsible for this last payment, this matter can be resolved by Mercedes honoring this responsibility and making that payment. Additionally per Mercedes- Benz response, they are now stating that the "excise tax... are Ms. [redacted]"s responsibility" when I was informed from Mercedes-Benz sales associate, who sold me my vehicle, that the company would pay the excise tax. Please see attached copy of the email from that associate.  At the very least, the manager at Mercedes who responded to this complaint, should remedy the companies integrity by submitting the outstanding last payment that Mercedes agreed to pay during this business transaction.

I have not seen an instance where a random key can start two different cars. I assume it is possible, but extraordinarily unlikely. If the consumer can show us the 2 vehicles with keys that start both interchangeably, I will work on a fair resolution.

The vehicle needed many repairs prior to the accident. We are repairing the vehicle and supplying the client with a brand new loaner car. We have no responsibility to make repairs that we did not cause.

That makes sense to me.

All keys made for a 2015 [redacted], like other models, can only be made at a Mercedes-Benz Dealership. We have the ability to see the history of each vehicle through the individual vehicle identification number. Ms. [redacted]'s 2015 [redacted] has only had the 2 original keys made. No others were ever ordered...

or programed. While I can not explain how her car was moved and returned, I can say with certainty that it was not done with a 3rd Mercedes-Benz key.Truly,[redacted]

We have offered to investigate the vehicle and the 2 keys that have been discussed. If the vehicle is brought here with all of the keys in questions, we will determine a fair way to resolve the problem. Without a technician looking into the matter we are at a standstill.
