First, an apology for using belligerent to describe the actions that were encountered1/months and nearly 3,miles after the repair visit in questionThe year old [redacted] was towed into us by the customer NOT running and needed at least $1,in repairs to get runningThe older vehicles can be very expensive to maintain/repair and the problems just continue as they get olderThere were several other issues that were not agreed to by the customer to be repaired during first and only time it was in to us for service, those also still need to be repairedWe offered to help by purchasing the vehicle from the customer at fair market wholesale valueThe customer agreed and we purchased the vehicle from herWe spent the additional money that was needed in repairs to get it running, in order for it to be sold at auctionWe tried everything possible to help from the startAfter 30+ years in the service business, a situation like this has never been experiencedAll you simply had to ask was: Can you help me decide what I should do with my year old [redacted] with nearly 80,miles and hasn't been service by a dealer?The answer would have beenGET RID OF IT!! due to the amount of work that this vehicle needs and was needed, most of it was caused by the previous work that had been performed on it elsewhere by (technicians? - mechanics?), whatever you want to call themThat do not know what they are doing!! They caused more problems than they fixed! This has been a lesson for all of us.Sincerely,

*** *** had filed an *** *** dispute against us after approving $4,000+ dollars of work on her 1999 *** ***We answered the dispute with the facts and *** *** did not allow her dispute. She brought her vehicle into us only 1 timeShe
explained that her roof was not working, her air conditioning was not working, her suspension was noisy and several other concernsWe addressed all of her concerns, we called her and explained every part and labor price for the repairs that her vehicle neededShe approved most of the work needed and declined some of the work neededThe amount she approved was $4,We performed all of the work that she approved, she came in to pick it up when she was called and told it was ready, she signed the repair invoice, the credit card approval slip, even said thank you to us when she was leaving and she did not mention anything at all about disputing anything at the time of the pickupI sent a folle-mail, as we do with all of our customers and I received a response to the follfrom *** that she was disputing the repairs because she didn't or couldn't understand the person giving her the quotesThe person giving her the quotes has been with our dealership for years and has not one time, ever had a concern from a customer stating that they couldn't understand him when he was giving estimatesShe actually stated that she heard dollar amounts totaling nearly $2000, but doesn't think she has to pay anything. All of the work was performed as agreed, paid for and picked up without any mention of an issue*** stated that she wants all of the problems fixed with her vehicle and she wants a complete refund on the repairs that her vehicle has already hadWe have been trying very hard to work with her and resolve any issuesShe is constantly belligerent and uses expletives on the phone and constantly hangs the phone up on us, she is constantly not responding to e-mails, if she does, she responds in a way that doesn't make any sense. She has filled out numerous bad reviews and is even threatening to call *** * news? She will not allow us to helpWe offered her a $credit for any future repairs that her vehicle will need and we even offered to purchase her vehicle from her if she wanted us toWe simply do not know what to do to make this situation betterWe feel as though we have done all that we can. In closing, there is no impropriety on behalf of Herb Chambers Porsche

*** *** I wish this rebuttal was presented to me when work was being done on the car The people I spoke with on the phone had broken English, and were very confusing and difficult to understand.Their business practice is not acceptable I have never encountered doing business with anyone and having our conversation secretly recorded I am not certain, but that sounds illegal.The entire encounter was unprofessional and I would not recommend any of my friends and acquaintances to do business with Porsche of Boston.After reading the reviews online, it seems that I am not the only one who feels this way.I expect an apology after accusing me of being belligerent *** ***
