Flowers for my wedding were broken and non funtional. Flower girl had no flowers due to broken arrangement as well as grooms flowers. I hired Herberg E Berg Florist Inc to provide the flowers for my wedding. I paid everything in full prior to the wedding $1,375. The day of the wedding flowers were delivered to the wedding party. The flower girl had a flower ball arrangement made. It had a ribbon at the top to hold on to and carry with. The ribbon fell out of the flower ball before the delivery person left the room. He took the flower ball with him and came back with it a half hour later telling us it was fixed. The driver told us that he was unable to get ahold of [redacted] and that he added 6 or 7 more pins to hold it together. And that there was no one at the shop for him to bring it back to. A few minutes later it fell apart again. The flower girl ended up having no flowers because it was not able to be held in any manor. The florist [redacted], that we met with knew the flowergirl was a 3 year old girl. The flower ball was full of straight pins. When it came back the second time it had even more pins sticking out of it, it couls not safely be carried. The groom had a catalilly and two spray roses as a boutinare, the catalilly was broken at the bottom and hidden behind the other two flowers with black tape. The catalilly kept falling out of the arrangement and had to be removed before pictures as it looked rediculous. The boutinare for the bestman fell apart before the ceremony while standing in the front of the church. None of the boutinares held together correctly and wilted very quickly. There were alot of beautiful flowers such as my maid of honor, bridesmaids and mine, the bride. The majority of the problem was with the tea roses, that [redacted] the florist told us to use. The flower arrangements at the reception were arranged in finely decorated bottles that the bride and groom provided along with photos of each table layout. Leaving the only task to deliver the flowers and to insert them into the bottles. The banquiet [redacted] also informed me that the delivery people were difficult to deal with. They gave him a hard time when delivering the flowers. The day after the wedding (June 3, 2013) at 1:47 pm an invoice was printed up and emailed to the bride for an amount of $479 plus tax making the total $500. This was stated as misc. charges due. When talking to the [redacted], [redacted] the same day she stated it was a glitch in the system that emailed out first thing in the morning when the computers turned on but that did not coniside with the time on the invoice. The [redacted], [redacted] told me, the bride she would credit me for the flower ball and the boutinare but never stated an amount or how the credit would be received. After calling back on June 7, 2013 again to find out the credit amount I was informed that we would be only receiving a credit of $50 toatl for both the flowerball and one boutinare that was mailed to our home in PA. [redacted] the [redacted] stated we were credited $35 for the flower ball and $15 for the boutinare and this was a full refund on both. After being charged $1,375 this does not seem like a reasonable amount. Disapointed in the completed product. Desired SettlementThere were 10 boutinares with tea roses that had wilting problems. Two of those boutinares were broken (the grooms and bestman). One flower ball that was not able to be used at all. And the tea roses on the tables were wilting by the end of the day. According to the [redacted], [redacted]'s math it was $15 per boutinare would equal out to be $150. The flower ball was priced out by [redacted] at $35. The 12 tables all had wilting tea roses by the end of the event, $20. I would be pleased with a settlement total in the form of a refund of $200. At no time did I receive any other complaints.I also said if the bout is pinned on wrong it may break. I am concerned about the flower ball because I was here and expected the ball back to fix. This leaves me with much concern and would like to talk with [redacted]. Also I delivered the centerpieces to the reception and the only problem I had with the [redacted] is that he was concerned we were letting flies in as we opened the door. When I was done he acknowledged the flowers were beautiful as I have pictures. I have no problem speaking with [redacted] regrading these matters and no problem with an additional 200.00 credit if that would make her happy. None of this was conveyed to me . Please call XXX-XXX-XXXX to resolve this matter and ask for [redacted]
