I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I paid for a product that is still malfunctioning.   There have been several interventions but nothing has changed.  Until the solar system is up and running as per agreement I will not retract my complaint.

There is no mention of reimbursement of my previous years electricity costs.  The system was faulty then but we were unaware until we received our electric bill.2. Doing monthly checks on a faulty system does nothing to correct the current situation.  How many times do they have to check it?  It can't correct itself.3. Since notifying Herca  I have been losing money for approximately 150 days.  There is no mention of reimbursement of this nor of the days to follow.4.  There is no response to my concern regarding how this system and the warranty is not large enough to cover my needs.  It was made very clear in the beginning that I was looking to find a system to zero out my bill.

Herca covered my entire roof with Solar Panels. Our experience was great from the initial sale all the way through the install.
Our Sales Person was extremely knowledgeable. She reviewed a few years of my SDGE bills and prepared an extremely comprehensive document explaining exactly what was needed to make it (the power Company) go away.
Then the install team also did a very professional and quick job of getting the whole thing installed and running. I would definitely use them again.

We have been working to find the CAUSE of the problem and it is something neither we, nor the manufacturers of the equipment have seen before.  So, yes, it has taken us quite a while.  The issue is either stemming from the optimizers or the panels themselves.  We went to the customer's house last week to replace the optimizers, which we thought was the solution to the problem.  It did not solve the problem, so we just went back out to the site yesterday to inspect the actual panels.  It seems as though the panels may be faulty, so we are now in contact with the manufacturer of the panels to find a solution for that problem.We are doing everything we can to correct this.  We do not want to commit to any reimbursement until we find the actual root of the problem since it is likely a manufacturer issue.  Once we can identify the root, we will absolutely discuss reimbursement with the customer.

In response, to Claim [redacted], we have been working on this issue since March of 2015 (when customer stated the problem began).  Since March, we have had a technician out there every month working on the diagnosis of the system issue.  It took us time to pinpoint the issue because both...

our company and the manufacturer had never come across anything like this before.  While we ran our tests, we were consulting with the manufacturer technical support to inquire what their procedures and suggestions were.We have finally figured out the root of the problem and are working with the manufacturer to acknowledge what the issue is.  Our general manager met with the customer today to go over solutions and we plan to have the system fixed within the next 2 weeks.  We are now waiting for the manufacturer to ship us replacement components, so we can get our technicians back out their to repair the system.
