The first phone call-complaint received from [redacted] occurred on May 11, (not March as stated on the complaint)While it is a public parking space, we have attempted to insure that each vehicle related to our construction complies to the one hour parking in that spaceThey usually unload and gain access for their work and then re-park elsewhereIn one instance with the roofing company they had to leave their hot tar tank in position for an extended period of time (days) and the landscaping company had some large vehicles carrying vegetation & landscaping materialHercules Construction informed the owner of the business that we could have reserved all parking on a monthly basis during construction, but we chose not to so that others without permits would not be ticketedA little after the middle of May the gas company performing a project past the hair salon and across the street closed all parking spaces on the entire Woodstock block and additionally, their employees and flaggers parked their vehicles all along WoodstockThis project was not related to our constructionThe construction related vehicles come in to unload or gain access and then move and park elsewhere making room for others (construction related or ???)We cannot monitor this public parking spaceWe have numerous subcontractors, city inspectors, planners, along with contractors performing work outside of Hercules Construction’s scope coming all day longThere have been many other vehicles related to other projects down the street that have parked daily in front of their business: including Comcast, Portland Bureau of Transportation, Water Service digging & paving by the city on SE 52ndWe realize this inconvenience of the construction which existed when they began their businessOut of courtesy, we have offered them to place their A-board signage on our sidewalk for visibility, and they have been doing it daily.Again, we cannot be responsible for monitoring all unrelated cars that park in these two vehicle spaces on an extremely busy street occupied by restaurants, convenience stores, retail shops, etcThe City of Portland Parking Enforcement have been called and came out but never once was there a vehicle of Hercules Construction parked in the 1-hour zoneHercules Construction has a van parked most of the days at the job site, and a pick up truck some of the timeNo other vehicles at the site are owned by Hercules Construction

Revdex.com:Thank you for your diligence in helping to resolve this matter Although I accepted this business's response it's unfortunate that the foreman had to be very volatile to my husband when asking about this complaint The company no longer parks in front of our salon all day and that is what the whole complaint was about , so it is resolved The foreman, I believe his name is Fotios , threatened my husband twice that he will tell the business coming in that we gave them a hard time and that is why it took so long to build the place If that's not retaliation I don't know what is I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

The first phone call-complaint received from [redacted] occurred on May 11, 2017 (not March 15 as stated on the complaint). While it is a public parking space, we have attempted to insure that each vehicle related to our construction complies to the one hour parking in that space. They usually...

unload and gain access for their work and then re-park elsewhere. In one instance with the roofing company they had to leave their hot tar tank in position for an extended period of time (2 days) and the landscaping company had some large vehicles carrying vegetation & landscaping material. Hercules Construction informed the owner of the business that we could have reserved all parking on a monthly basis during construction, but we chose not to so that others without permits would not be ticketed. A little after the middle of May the gas company performing a project past the hair salon and across the street closed all parking spaces on the entire Woodstock block and additionally, their employees and flaggers parked their vehicles all along Woodstock. This project was not related to our construction. The construction related vehicles come in to unload or gain access and then move and park elsewhere making room for others (construction related or ???). We cannot monitor this public parking space. We have numerous subcontractors, city inspectors, planners, along with contractors performing work outside of Hercules Construction’s scope coming all day long. There have been many other vehicles related to other projects down the street that have parked daily in front of their business: including Comcast, Portland Bureau of Transportation, Water Service digging & paving by the city on SE 52nd. We realize this inconvenience of the construction which existed when they began their business. Out of courtesy, we have offered them to place their A-board signage on our sidewalk for visibility, and they have been doing it daily.Again, we cannot be responsible for monitoring all unrelated cars that park in these two vehicle spaces on an extremely busy street occupied by restaurants, convenience stores, retail shops, etc. The City of Portland Parking Enforcement have been called and came out but never once was there a vehicle of Hercules Construction parked in the 1-hour zone. Hercules Construction has a van parked most of the days at the job site, and a pick up truck some of the time. No other vehicles at the site are owned by Hercules Construction.
