My husband & I went to Seigerman's Furniture store to buy a reclining coach and reclining chair As we looked at different options, we advised our salesman, Allen, that some of the available reclining chair options were too large for our room The cushioned reclining couch we picked did not have a reclining chair on display Allen told us that a reclining chair was available We asked him about it as we were concerned about the size Allen described the chair to be like the end section (1/3) of the (86") couch with another arm rest When the furniture was delivered, the reclining chair was MUCH LARGER THAN DESCRIBED! It was actually 1/the size of the couch - 43" It is too large for our space We cannot open one section of the couch, nor walk passed the chair due to its size! Ordered a couch from seigermans 2/*/Got the usual to maybe weeks til delfollowed up in weeks told to recheck in weeks I did and they advthey'd get back to me ,Never didGot in touch with the salesman and was told due to manuProblems were looking at weekshe was nice enough to put me in touch with the factory rep and he said probably longer than my couch wasn't due to be made till the middle of April I contacted sales and cancelled my order In fact over the past month I had cancelled my order approxfive timesAt no time did they actually cancell itCalled *** and filed a dispute- minutes later the store manager called portraying himself as jay from corporate and he'd would have my order cancelled and my acctcreditedNever happened! Called back a week later, asked for jay and told no such person exists Spoke to the manager ( I think) and now he told me my order would be xled and my actCredited don't think it's gonna happenNever dealt with such an organization as this in my life
Ordered and received defective modular sofa from Seigermans We refused delivery due to damaged/defective legs Contacted store immediately Was told they would have to order new replacement legs We had to wait another weeks for legs to come in from overseasSofa was redelivered with new legsHowever, sofa had other defects including deflated cushions, broken ratchet backs and defective arms Called store and was told a repair man would come to fix problem We did not want defective sofa to be repaired Serviceman came and documented the defects We contacted store and asked for a refund as the furniture quality and multiple defects were not acceptedSent multiple photos along with recap of defects and manager agreed that there were multiple defects and stated the sofa looked as if it were years old We asked for a refund again and he said noHe stated our only option was to reorder as they do not give refundsWe reluctantly agreed to the order sofa, and have to wa
