Well their insured mowed me down in the street like an ANIMAL WHILE TALKING/TEXTING ON THE PHONE !
The claims examiner mails a stack of denials to me every week so no doctors or hospitals have been paid at all. Not even the ambulance bill from a year agi has been paid. The driver, who by the way was arrested a month earlier for #RecklessDriving shouldnt have been on the road. Clearly this company will insure anyone regardless of their past driving history just to collect a premium. But this company has a reputation for not abiding by the NYS Insurance Laws.
But to date HEREFORD is slow if not defiant in paying my medical bills and expenses; so now im waiting for justice !

Review: on Sept. [redacted] I was rear ended while I was stopped in traffic in Manhattan which caused serious injuries to me and significant damage to my vehicle.

I immediately submitted 2 separate Auto body shop estimates for $2,800 to Hereford Insurance Company.

A month later Hereford insurance Company sent an asset recovery company specialist to my residence to appraise my vehicle damage.

A couple of weeks later they inform me that they will only pay $900 and only if I sign a waiver. Any help would be much appreciated.Desired Settlement: Please issue a check for my damages so I can get my vehicle repaired properly.

The accident occurred on September *, 2013 and was reported on September **, 2013. Our insured rearended the complainant. Although the complainant’s vehicle was towed from the scene, the police officer indicated on the police report “no damage to either vehicle”. The complainant submitted two estimates to repair his vehicle, one for $2831.25 the other $2830.51.We advised the complainant we needed to inspect the vehicle. Although the complaint had two estimates, he set up the inspection at his residence not at either of the shops that did the estimates. Our appraiser wrote $926.70 in damages. The full $926.70 was offered to the complainant. We have attempted to contact the complainant to have his vehicle inspected at a repair shop to determine if there was damage our appraiser missed. To date the complainant has not responded. At this time we believe our offer is a fair and reasonable. However, we will reevaluate if the vehi cle is inspected in a shop and deemed to have additional damage.

Review: In april, my min van was hitter by a taxi which insured by Hereford, after my car sent to the body shop repair, the body shop find more problem, call them inspect , they took week to respond ( they tell me they go inspect in 2nd day), then the body shop ask the parts, the parts was delay, so the body shop total spend 39 days to repair my car, till the body shop Finnish their job, I still didn't hear any thing from them, than I call them, this time they email me the agree form and wait another five business days to get the check. I have no choice , pay the body shop by my self instead wait their check. Then after two week Hereford told me they only can pay me 13 days the car rent, I tell them the story, and the the body shop people call them also, they tell me only they can pay 25 days of 39 days car rent, this is not fair, I don't want rent car till I have no choice, I even pay the body shop by my self let rent car less days.

The Broker is the [redacted] I have notified both of this company that I do not want to insure my vehicle any longer with them, beginning of this year, because of their Price Gauging and charging $50.00 late payment fee practices. I have insured my vehicle with another company, there was no lapse on my insurance when I transferred to another company, I have also notified them by phone in a timely matter, so they can be aware of the fact that I do not wish to continue with their services.

This was beginning of this year, I still receive reminders of payments by this company on monthly basis, I have called several times and also submitted my new insurance company info along with proof of insurance papers, that clearly indicates there was no elapse on my vehicle insurance, this people do not understand or do not accept this, constantly harassing consumers for payments. And refusing to remove my info from their system, as I do not want their services! rDesired Settlement: Remove my personal info and my vehicle info from your system. Do NOT contact me
