The owner *** *** replied and stated that he would provide a refund for the services not rendered ($175) which still means that I was charged $to have less than SF of carpet cleaned, and about minutes of actual time in my apartment. *** *** said he would not refund
my money until I sent Revdex.com a notification that the issue was resolved. I replied and said the refund was not negotiable and to please pay. To date, I have still received no refund. I have saved copies of all e-mail exchanges for my records Heritage Chem-Dry regarding complaint ID ***

Review: I was charged $625.00 after only being quoted a little over $200 for carpet cleaning services. The floor area requested to be cleaned was less than 650 square feet. Only certain spots were treated with a chemical to remove the smell of pet urine. The odor is much worse than it was before the company arrived. They claimed to have used 6 gallons of [redacted], and were in and out of my apartment within 30 minutes. I have asked for a refund after doing research and finding out that the price I was charged was outrageously high. Not only was the price abnormally high, the chemicals left discoloration on my carpet, and the odor is much worse. I don't believe that 6 gallons of anything was poured on my carpet as it was dry within a day. Furthermore, I could have replaced the carpet area for not much more than the price. I have repeatedly asked for a refund and have not received a response. I was given a presentation with a black light (showing pet urine spots) and promised that in a few days the odor would be gone and it required 6 gallons of [redacted]. After interviewing other carpet cleaning firms, I have received a 100% consensus that I was ripped off and/or price gouged. Do not use Heritage Chem Dry. I have now spent several hours of my time writing e-mails, phone calls, contacting other property managers, carpet cleaning experts, and attorneys. The e-mail address the secretary told me to send my complaint to bounced back three times. Very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I would just like a fair and reasonable refund. I realize the business spent time driving to and from my apartment, and spent 30 minutes and some chemicals in my apartment. Is $625.00 really reasonable to charge someone when the carpets are now discolored and smell worse?
