I am rejecting this response because:  The accuracy of the dealership response is extremely incorrect.  We were advised over the phone the day before driving down to sign the paperwork that Mr. [redacted] qualified by himself with no additional income with a specific payment.  We were advised that everything was done and that all we had to do was drive down and sign.  The purchase price of the [redacted] pricing was confirmed over the phone the night before.  We advised [redacted] during that conversation that we did have a trade in and to work up the deal without it at first (which was done).  My husband offered to put down more money to cover the negative equity when we arrived.  We did not arrive irritated or mad... we were excited to drive home in a truck that my husband had been looking for.  It was never disclosed to us that my score had increased the rate, and I have a hard time understanding how that would have happened considering we contacted Ford directly and they said we qualified for Tier 1- Red Carpet financing.  Since the incident at Heritage Ford, we have since leased a vehicle from another dealership that cost A LOT more, less money down (with our trade) and a cheaper payment with Red Carpet financing (the financing that Heritage Ford told us that we didnt qualify for).  How is it that one dealership says we dont qualify and need more money down, when another (and Ford directly) says we do qualify?  I spoke with the General Manager and tried to explain what happened.  All he was interested in was discussing the [redacted] pricing... not the fact that we qualified for one thing and they were trying to give us another.  After I advised him that I had file complaints with the Revdex.com, Ford, [redacted], and the State Licensing Board, the manager made false accusations that my husband was violent.  I then interrupted him and told him that at no time was my husband violent, touched anyone, or anything, or damaged any property.  He stated that there were several complaints from employees, however we only saw one employee the entire time we were there, and that was [redacted] in the internet sales dept.  We were in a back portable office with no one else, so I dont understand what other 'employees" were complaining, or how they would complain considering my huband was NEVER VIOLENT.  It seems to me that after I told him of the complaints filed, he was grasping at straws and was saying whatever he coudl to try and justify himself.  There was never any apology for having us drive down there on one pretense and then changing it up on us.  The conversation ended due to us both not agreeing with what the other was saying.  We left on vacation for over a week and up on our return we received a letter from the owner.  My husband has not had an opportunity to respond back to the letter.  The review that I left was valid and I stand by it due to the horrible experience and false information provided by this dealership.

A few days before February 5th, 2015, I received a call front Mr. [redacted] on e new 2015 F-150 Lariat that we had in stock. He stated he lives in Roseville and had been working with [redacted] Ford but was unable to come to terms with them in purchasing a vehicle. He had $2000 down, [redacted] price through...

his employer and was interested in leasing our F-150. He asked about payments on the lease. I explained that I would provide a quote (honoring the [redacted] price) based on [redacted]t best lease tier (Red carpet lease). However, everything was on APPROVAL of CREDIT. We made a few calls back-and -forth, and he liked the estimates I presented. He wanted to secure the deal, so I directed him to our online credit application. When we processed his application, [redacted]t required $4100 down. I called to advise him that in order to keep his payment the same he would have to put $4100 down. He agreed to put down the dollar amount. We placed our F-150 off the market and scheduled art appointment for the weekend. Upon the [redacted]s arrival to the Dealership, they NOW introduced a trade which had negative equity. I advised them even though they sent us an online version of their credit application the bank ¡s going to require a hard copy. I asked them to complete it while I appraised their vehicle. The trade in value came in lower than what [redacted] Ford had offered them. They accused me of retaliating on their trade-in because of the [redacted] through their employer. I explained in detail the trade-in evaluation process. They stated that [redacted] Ford was offering more than us, and they wanted me to match it. I explained that maybe they were able to show more for their trade because [redacted] Ford has huge mark ups on their vehicles and they had more room to work. I didn’t know the complete details of [redacted]’s offer. I did make a few calls and was able to get them an extra $1000 for their trade. Since we NOW had to re-structure the deal (using the [redacted] Price) adding the negative equity to the equation, [redacted]t (not me) needed more income to justify the higher payment. We then added his wife to the deal but due to her SCORE, the rate increased. All these factors changed the payment.  At NO POINT did we change the [redacted] price. When I presented the new proposal to them, they lost their temper and started accusing me of trying to hide money in the numbers.???  Mr. [redacted] accused me of increasing the [redacted] price because the extra money I got them for their trade. He claimed his employer’s [redacted] price was lower than the one I presented to him on our FACTORY INVOICE. Mr. [redacted] also claimed to have a copy of a VIN specific [redacted] price quote on his phone from his employer. He never told me the price. At this point, Mr. [redacted] was out of control, he kept physically running In and out of my office SHOUTING and POUTING, Their baby was crying and his wife kept telling her husband to calm down. Throughout the entire sales process, I remained calm and never raised my voice at them. They were upset as soon as they arrived at the dealership. They were complaining about the long drive and the weather (raining). They began to accuse me of lying to them and wasting their time. I resent the fact that Mr. [redacted] screaming at me, blamed me for “PUTTING HIS FAMILY’S LIFE IN DANGERI”! REALLY????  It seems that they almost got into an accident driving here and I was to be blamed for it. A few days later Mrs. [redacted] posted a unfitting/bitter post on the Internet accusing me of misleading them and using the “Bait and Switch” tactlc. REALLY??? At no point did I ask them to buy another vehicle.  I don’t know what price they got from their employer, our price never  changed. Only the deal structure changed because of their CREDIT and NEGATIVE EQUITY         I’m  requesting that the [redacted]’s apologize to me and take down their inappropriate post. I find it offensive and inaccurate. According to my General Sales Manager he did attempt to further explain the details to Mrs. [redacted] over the phone but he could hardly get a sentence in because of her rude behavior. The conversation was useless. The owner of Heritage Ford sent e personal letter to Mr. [redacted] requesting a meeting with everyone involved, including the CEO of his company to discuss these false accusations. Needless to say, we haven’t heard from him. [redacted] internet Manager

Review: This dealership used a "bait and switch" tactic on my family. They had a vehicle that we were looking for and we contacted them regarding it. All of the details were completed over the phone since we live over an hour and a half away. The internet sales manager [redacted] pulled our credit advised us what our payment would be with the down payment that we told him we had. We confirmed that everything was done and that we would be driving down the next day to sign the paperwork and pick up the vehicle. When we arrived after work the next day, we found that nothing had been completed or done, no deal was worked up, and they suddenly started changing the price of the vehicle. We have a special pricing through our employer and they were suddenly not honoring it and stated that if they did give us the special pricing that they would give us a lower amount on our trade in because of it. After all of this they then said that we needed more down payment and wanted a higher payment in return. The payment that we were quoted over the phone and the amount as a down payment were completely changed. The internet sales manager kept telling us that we dont have to take the deal and we can leave if we want. Our family drove an hour and a half away in a storm to get there and he was so rude. I believe that they thought that since we had driven so far, and since it was so late that we would just sign anything. We feel that this bait and switch tactic is their normal business practice. Our concern is for the numerous other families that this dealership had done this too and taken advantage of. Our family walked out of the dealership with no truck and in our original vehicle. I refuse to be taken advantage of with a bait and switch on a deal that was already done and agreed upon over the phone. (credit pulled and financing was said to have been completed)Desired Settlement: Apology

I am rejecting this response because: The accuracy of the dealership response is extremely incorrect.

Review: The bought 2016 ford F 150 pickup from heritage Ford trade in a 2015 Dodge Cummins dually 4x4. $26,000 toward the down payment of the Ford from here on out was kind of muscled into the contract.Desired Settlement: I would like my 2015 dodge that was traded in return to me along with my title

Response:

I just consulted with my [redacted]. He stated that he recently talked to [redacted] and that he was happy with his new truck. There was some confusion on which vehicle [redacted] wanted from the beginning, but has since been resolved. Please consider this case closed on our end.
