There Is No Longer A Complaint

Review: On or about August 21, 2014, [redacted] from Heritage Glass came to my home to make a template for a glass table top for a new dining room table I had purchased. After taking the measurements he told me it would cost approximately $350 and requested a down payment. I gave him $165 in cash. Several weeks passed. I called several times and variously was told that the glass was not in yet, that he had to special order the glass because of the size of the table etc. By November I was told that he would install the top in a week or so but he never called to schedule. Various calls were not returned by him. Two weeks before Christmas he told me I would have it by Christmas. In January I was told that he had had pneumonia and was way behind in his work. In February I requested a refund of my deposit and have not heard back from him.Desired Settlement: I have no faith that this man is going to show up to deliver the glass table top. I want a refund, either by cash (I will go to the business location to pick it up) or by a bank check. I do not trust this company to give me a valid personal or business check.

There Is No Longer A Complaint

Review: No response to requests to correct a problem After three visits to the shop over a six week period

They installed floor two floor to wall plate glass mirrors in a room a few years ago. These mirrors are approximately 4x8 feet. The glue holding one of the mirrors has let go at the top of the mirror and the mirror has seperated from the wall. It is leaning on a cabinet and has created a dangerous situation where it may fall further and break. The room has been unusable because of this danger. I have stopped at the shop and described the situation to the woman at the office three times in the last six weeks. No one has called or come to rectify the problem. Each time the woman looks up the original complain and says the service man will call. He has not called. The danger is still there and the room remains unusable. This problem can be fixed by simply reglueing the mirror to the wall. Desired Settlement: Reattach the mirror to the wall.
