Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: What Alamo Handyman refuses to accept is that this wire was fine until their installer cut the wireTheir own electrician installed a light fixture from this outlet which worked fineThey NEVER offered to repair the wire free of chargeI talked with Mr [redacted] once and made several additional attempts after speaking to the installer but he did not return my callsHow do a wire enclosed in the cover rub against the conduit break on it's own? In hindsight, I am not sure why the wire had to be exposedHe only needed to remove the cover to install the siding Regards, [redacted]

Alamo Handyman is in its tenth year of doing business and this is the first complaint we have ever received through the Revdex.comWe gave Ms***, a repeat customer, an estimate to install new vinyl siding on the back of her house in an area approximately 20ftX10ftwhere the
siding was damaged from a hail storm. Ms*** approved the work and we were scheduled to do the work on May 2nd. We purchased the vinyl siding in preparation for the job. On April 26th Ms*** informed us that she was cancelling the job. We did not ask for any re-stocking fee to return the material we had already purchased. Around the 20th of June Ms*** got back with our office stating that she now wanted us to do the work. On July 16th we removed the damaged siding and replaced an area larger than 20ft.x 10ft. After we finished the work, she brought it to our attention that the estimate stated we would replace “the entire back of the house.” We honored what our estimate stated, at no additional cost to Ms***, and went back on Saturday, July 16th to install additional siding covering the entire back of her house. In the process, our technician discovered the broken wire in the conduit and brought it to Ms***’s attention. The technician told her we would contact our electrician to repair the wiring. The office tried to reach her on Monday the 18th to schedule the electrician but did not make contact. Ms*** called the office and stated that she had another electrician repair the wire and she wanted us to pay for the repair. I called her back and left her a voice mail message. To my knowledge, I did not receive a call back. In good faith, we went above and beyond honoring our estimate and we are not paying for the electrician that she hired. Tell us why here
