Review: I have been trying to get the death date placed on my mother's tombstone since a month after her death. Her death date was Oct 1, 2012. I live in FL; therefore, all communication has been via phone, and emails. In the early attempts there were problems simply getting a contract to me in a timely manner. A contract was finally received and signed, June 3, 2013. Within the last two months, I gave my credit card thinking that this would speed up the process and end my constantly having to contact them in regards to getting it done. They have indicated via email that they have received payment and promised it would be done soon. Such a promise has been made several times previously. Something must be wrong with the order; such a delay does not make sense to me. I am wondering what the problem is and wishing for it to be done. Thanks. A photo will be necessary as proof of it being done. Thanks, [redacted]) in Florida.Desired Settlement: Proof that it has been done with a photo of the tombstone with the death date.

Response:
I sincerely regret the communication breakdown, and the fact that it took so long to get a contract to the afore mentioned customer. Upon further investigation I learned that the issue was specifically related to other deceased parties in the same cemetery having the same name and needing clarification to ensure that the work was performed on the correct monument. Our main office received first notification of this by the customer one week ago, and since then all questions have been answered, and the work will be performed as soon as weather permits.Sincerely,Kevin C. Response:
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Thanks for responding to my complaint with the Revdex.com in regards to the delay of recording the death date on my mother's tombstone. I wish to correct your statement in regards to the confusion concerning another [redacted] being buried in Thornrose. The other [redacted] was buried at Oaklawn. This was corrected very soon by one of your employees. I knew the other [redacted], an in-law and her son [redacted]. From the beginning, I indicated that the tombstone for my mother was at the secondary entrance to Thornrose, not the the entrance on [redacted], and you can see your stone immediately upon entrance. Somehow, someone dropped the ball. The other [redacted] was not at Thornrose and should not be an excuse. As of now, I will drop the complaint and wait for photos as prove when it has been done. Thanks again. [redacted]
