Mr . *** made reservations on June for a number of rooms He was told at the time that there would be a non refundable deposit of nights stayWE HELD ROOMS FROM JUNE -jULY We did not have a card on file until July 8th at which time my front desk manager called to get a credit card
to charge the depositHe cancelled the reservations on July 11thOur policy for a single reservation is hours prior to the day of arrival With certain events our policy is to charge a non refundable deposit(when we expect to fill and for special eventsAttached is a copy of the reservationThe reservation note signifies non refundable depositI am sorry that they did not win their game and therefore unable to come to the tournament but we turned down other teams to hold their reservation.

I was there 3/10/16 enjoying a volunteer group sing karaoke. [redacted] and [redacted] stormed into the bar and took our volunteer's organization president aside and told him that my friend and I were causing trouble. My friend worked there two years ago but had left on her own due to scheduling conflicts with her school. Apparently the [redacted] manager had a problem with her and so he and [redacted] the GM of the hotel slandered her and I to the business contact of my friend rather than telling us. We were not causing trouble at all and were listening to our volunteer group sing. This was very embarrassing to both my friend and I. Since my friend worked there at one time, the managers gave her a bad reference to the business contact of hers. This is not legal and also you do not defame a customers behavior in a public business. This establishment is in for legal problems, should they continue this activity. My friend and I will not be back and we will let others know about this situation. The only people causing problems with the business were [redacted] and [redacted] ( the managers of the business).
These people need to go to school and take business courses. Then again, I can see why they wouldn't. The business does not work with student's school schedules. This place is going down hill, and has not made any changes that they promised. Their main issue is not just renovations. It's the management and hotel staff.
