Heritage Park Apartments is charging me for "damages" to my old apartment's marble countertops that are "stains" and "dark spots" that are just wear and tear to a very low quality marble productIt's not my fault that they choose to use a poor product that by the property manager's own admission is so poor they have to charge a renter for damages in of every move-outs
Product_Or_Service: Rental apartment

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that although I am now convinced they charged me for someone else's damages, I no longer wish to deal with the business or pursue my complaintIt can be closed at this time.
Regards,
*** ***

Ms*** also sent me this letter. I called her immediately to discuss. This was a long time ago and none of the staff she is talking about is currently employed here. I asked to meet with herTold her to bring any supportive documents she had and that I would be happy to review
this and help her to get this eviction off of her record. I also offered to give her a letter, on Heritage park letterhead, stating that she did not owe any money to Heritage Park and that her eviction was filed in error. Ms*** expressed her gratitude and we set up a time to meet. She then contacted me stating she was ill and I told her to simply call me back when she felt better and we can set up a new time I am still waiting for Ms*** to contact me to set up a time.Thank you,Barbara ***Property Managerheritage Park Apartments

Revdex.com spoke to Judy at business and the following was relayed: Her lease expired on June 30th. The tenant did not leave and was sent her renewal notice and notified that if she did not sign a new lease that she would be charged month to month market rate. She stayed until August 2nd. After the tenant...

left and the apartment was inspected there was found to be damage to every single door, the hinges were pulled away and bi-fold doors were damaged. We charged her for the entire month of July and for $54.19 2 days in August. In addition we charged her the late fee as she had not paid. Regarding the damage, we could have taken the entire security deposit for the amount of but we fixed in house and she was only charged a reduced rate of $200. The damage was consistent with children hanging and swinging on the doors and doorknobs. She was sent back $465.81.
