First off, we would like to thank you for utilizing our business In review of our records, we show that you signed our lease contract that fully explains all possible move-out charges, expressly the cleaning charges –those for maids and for the carpet cleaning —that would be deducted from your deposit upon your move-out We do not charge an admin fee and instead we ask that residents have their carpets professionally cleaned at the end of their lease and to bring us the receipt as proof; if this step is done, then we do not deduct a carpet cleaning from the depositThis step was not done by the resident and I have attached the receipts for the professional cleanings for both the maids and carpet cleanings that were done before the resident moved in and the receipts for both cleanings that were done after the resident moved out I have also attached the contract that shows the resident signed and was fully aware of the possible move out charges The resident was not charged for a full maid cleaning as the apartment was in a cleaner condition and only a light clean was needed; please note that this decision was made by the cleaning company, not ourselves The ceiling was inspected and our maintenance found nothing wrong with it and it was not falling down; pictures were taken to add to the residents file to note the concern In regards to the request of the $95, we unfortunately can not refund money that was legitimately used to make the apartment ‘rent-ready’ Tell us why here
