Prior to receipt of this letter we had cancelled the invoice for the second visit. We have been in contact with the customer by telephone and have emailed a credit to...
her as she checks her mailbox infrequently and had not received the credit.
At the time we had a new billing clerk and the office manager was away on an extended sick leave. The issue was brought to our attention by the customer after the office manager returned to work and sent [redacted] a statement of account. The invoice was sent in error. It is not our practice to send a second invoice if the original visit does not correct the original problem.
We understand that [redacted] is satisfied with the cancellation of the invoice in question and no future action is required.
