I purchased a new vehicle. The alignment was off when purchased. We purchased a new [redacted] Aug. 2012. My wife test drove the van . when I went to sign the paperwork I noticed the van had a slight pull to the right when driving. I informed them about it and the sales man told me it was a saftey feature if the driver fell asleep while driving the van would veer to the right instead of into oncoming traffic. They told me they would check the alignment for me and would be no problem. I bought the van thinking it would be fixed after I found that is was not a saftey feature. I kept taking it back and they said the van was ok but it wasn't . After about 10k miles the front tires wore out on the outside. So I took the van back .They put new tires on it again and said it was fixed now it has about 25k miles on it and tires are worn out again. The van has never stopped pulling to the right after bringing back about 15 times to be worked on . The owner of the dealership even drove it with me and said nothing was wrong with it. But I feel that my family is riding in an unsafe vehicle and the tires wear out way to fast.I have been dealing with this situation for the past 2 yrs and the van has never been fixed. Also found out they worked on the alignment before I purchased it so they knew it was not right when they sold it to meDesired SettlementJust want it fixedBusiness Response We are in contact with Mr [redacted] at the present time and also working with [redacted] to get something resolved. His van is currently still pulling and wearing out tires. We fully aware of this situation and are looking for help from [redacted]. Thanks, Lynn [redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This will be the second time the case will involve the [redacted] corp. They sent their tech to [redacted] and said they fixed the van. They closed the case. I contacted [redacted] trying to tell them the van was still not repaired but they would not help me.Now the case will be reopened after 2 years of driving a van that you can't let go of the steering wheel or you will hit the ditch and second set of tired are worn out. How long should we let this matter go on before an accident happens when my family is driving down the highway?Final Business Response It has been turned over to [redacted] so we are just waiting to here what they are gonna do about it. Once they are in involved it is sort of out of our control. They will advise us what to do next. Sorry about the inconvenience. Thanks, Lynn [redacted]

I wasn't informed of bald tires. I discovered it after 500 miles of driving. Now I have bought 2 sets of tires. The car is unfixable (per tire shop).I have purchased 7 total tires for the car since I had it. It's alignment can only be fixed by 1 degree with a 400$ kit. The alignment is off by 1.5 degrees on 3 tires and 2.2 degrees on the other. The tire shop told me it is not fixable 100% but make it better with the 1 degree kit. The salesman, [redacted] (I think), did not disclose any information that the tires were wore out from the get go. I thought it may be a set of bent wheels so I replaced them with stock wheels for the car with new tires and it is continuing to wear out 100$+ a piece tires. I have had it for 6 months and have spent over 1000$ on tires alone. I contacted the sales person before going to this extent and he avoided the questions and conveniently received a phone call midway through our conversation. I drove this vehicle for over 500 miles on tires that had wires showing because I was unaware of the issue. My life was in danger. This is inexcusable. This has been an on going problem since I bought the vehicle about 6 months ago. Desired SettlementI would like for them to do one of two things. 1.) Take the vehicle back at 100% cost INCLUDING the service costs. 2.) Reimburse me for all service on the tires over the past few months. And any in the future that are a direct result of the dishonest representation of the vehicle being "As-is". Business Response First of all [redacted] purchased a 2005 Ford Focus from us on April the 2nd of 2013.The car was sold to him in good faith like we sale all of our older cars and yes it was purchased as any of his money is.[redacted] called us for the first time on or around November 1st.We go out of our way to take care of people and treat them with the most respect!!! I should have been contacted at he time of the sell if he had such a problem with the tires.I have personally tried to call him and his number that we have for him must not be in service.I will not purchade the care back nor will I refund him his money back for being told it was as is!!! I will be more than happy to look at the issue at my shop for him.But will not take the opinions of another shop that his alignment can't be corrected. Thanks, [redacted]
