over the weekend we sold more AVS codes than anticipated and ran out of activation codes The customer emailed us on June 29, and we responded within hours A refund was processed for the customer for her purchase

A refund was processed back to customer's account on 9/

If you look at the complaints from Herman Street most of them are from back in and We have a new management team and have made some tremendous stridesIf you do not feel comfortable downloading from us you can repurchase the product from another vendor and send a copy of your receiptOnce I have the new purchase I will bend the rules and issue you a refund

I called Bitdefender this morning and was advised that customer called Bitdefender tech support on 9/6/and they sent her instructions on how to fix her computer It was also determined that customer didn't speak to Bitdefender originally, and had called another company Bitdefender does not require people to pay exurbanite amounts of money, or try and charge monthly fees

Customer contacted Herman Street back on June 23rd and advised she was unable to reach RC Fishing World In turn we agreed to send her out another boat Customer will be receiving a shipping confirmation in the next hours

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Herman Street web site offers hour availability for immediate download but does not offer technical support for hours The web site does not function in the same standard that other competitive web sites function When making a purchase of software, the Herman Street system merely has a button indicator for "buy now" It is not until the purchase is finalized that you realize that you never received an option for buying software that is specific to your operating system Most web sites clearly indicate what operating system a given software is able to operate on prior to purchase or at least upon purchasing give you the option of which system you are using Herman Street does not I entered into a contract of sale with this company and they sold me a product that was "defective" because it was not operable across platforms Their policy to issue a refund on "defective" products requires "troubleshooting" the problem with their technical support Not only is it very difficult to reach the company by phone, they do not respond to emails outside of sending copies of their sales policy and offering the customer to make an additional purchase Obviously no amount of "troubleshooting" will make this defective product that they sold to me work Not only do I not have faith in the purchase process of this company's web site, I am not interested in doing business with a company that operates in the way that they do After making my purchase and failing to have a product that was usable, I was able to find another download online for the same type of software on a different website Not only did that software work seamlessly, but it was completely free of charge By the time this company responded to my inquiry, I was no longer in need of that particular software, and having had the experience with Herman Street, it is in my opinion that this business operates unscrupulously We are not talking about a significant amount of money here In fact, my credit card company has issued a refund to me in the full amount which is what Herman Street should have done immediately regardless of their "return policy" because their sales system online is vague and set up to steal the consumer's money in a trap that requires additional purchases in a bad faith operation Herman Street should be required to update their web site so that consumers are not unsuspectingly cheated out of their money After my experience with Herman Street, I would never make an attempt to make an additional purchase on their web site It would be like gambling more money and hoping that I would get something that I could use I'd rather play the lottery.Revdex.com of Utah, thank you for your attention to this matter and thank you for the protection that you offer to consumers Sincerely, [redacted] ***
