I would not recommend this company to anyoneI called and ordered service they sent two men out one Named HERLOLD and I signed up for service, gave them my credit card information and they scheduled for the following week for service to startSince I just moved from out of state my husband and I just changed new banking and I did not know my bank was going to cancel my old card before sending my new cardSo yes an honest mistake had this man coming to my home every day for daysInstead of just calling like people doI gave him a different card not knowing my husband canceled it at the beginning of the weekWhen I called the office this morning to reschedule for service to start at the end of the month and it gave me time to get my new credit card to pay themAgain herold comes bamming at my door like a bad debit collectorThis company new the issue and still sent this guy to hound me at home, while I was working on conference meeting with my bossI even had a sign on my door DO NOT KNOCK IM IN A MEETINGNot once, twice but times he pounded on my door

I am a very happy customer with Heron and have been for awhileRecently, we were overwhelmed by mosquitos and my granddaughter had been bitten and we were very concernedWhen I called the staff was very helpful and made it a priority to get someone out to helpI signed up for the mosquito service and they were out the next day to treatI am very appreciative for all of their help and as soon as they treated the mosquitos were gone!! Thank You Heron!

From the first day I met their representative, Brenda C*** I was relaxed with her positive attitude She did her assessment of my property; came up with an estimate & secured a date that they could proceedI have been with them for almost a year; they come regularly for their outdoor treatments & should I call them (for a bug that I don't know) they respond immediately They care for the lawn meticulously Thank you John especially when I put new sod throughout my property I went with them for my irrigation where I met Corey W*** a meticulous person who took in consideration the new sod Everyone I have met so far is considerate & professional

Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable! This company and "Mathew" in particular have transformed my run down-former rental home lawn into the best lawn on the street in two applicationsI dumped the old company because they failed to accomplish ANY objectives...grass looked horrible and red ant mounds everywhere
Mathew checks out the lawn, then mixes a solution for MY lawns needs...crazy that they can do thatI'm in Clermont Fl and HIGHLY suggest this company and Mathew if you're close by!

Last month early November a day before usual bimonthly service, I received a call from heron representative (may be Paul) around 5pm stating he was coming next day to the regular lawn serviceat that time I informed him that I'm cancelling service and no need to comeNext day a bell rings at my door and I go come outside of my house in to minI see Paul next to his heron van getting fertilizer out in his spreader cart which was full completely with the fertilizerI told that the service was cancelled and also I added that I already spoke to you or your representative ( which I have the call saved in my incoming calls from heron from yesterday) that I informed not to come for the service, so Paul put the fertilizer back in him Van while I was outsideI called right away the heron toll free no and informed the service was cancelled , Paul was outside and I did not let him do the service, so not be to chargeafter few days I see the charge of around $dollar hear I go again in around nov or tho I called again to reverse the charge and then I received a call from manager Hector Orlando branch, I informed his about the issue and to reverse the chargeWe want back and forth finally I found out he want on vacation, so now I was transfer to new manager James on nov 28th and explain the issue and he promise he his take care of the issue and refund the amtHow advice me will take few day to the reverse of chargeI hear I go again trying to get the issue resolved again after left two more message since yesterday and today morning but still no responseToday is 12/10/I spoke to the girl rep and she assure that she will send msg via email and phone to have James call me back and still waiting for the call from James and need fund for the service that was cancelled and not doneBefore I start the legal case...you should also have camera in the heron van to check if Paul had done or finish the service completely or not and I have my way to going forward with proof I haveMy call back no is*** Sunil

I would not recommend this company to anyone. So yes an honest mistake had this man coming to my home every day for 2 days. Instead of just calling like normal people do. I gave him a different card not knowing my husband canceled it at the beginning of the week. When I called the office this morning to reschedule for service to start at the end of the month and it gave me time to get my new credit card to pay them.. Again herold comes bamming at my door like a bad debit collector. This company new the issue and still sent this guy to hound me at home, while I was working on conference meeting with my boss. I even had a sign on my door DO NOT KNOCK IM IN A MEETING. Not once, twice but 4 times he pounded on my door.

I'm writting this compliant here because Heron has nothing on their website to register compliants. Only complements.
Little over 3 years ago I had my front tree cut way back and had the old sod removed and a new lawn installed by [redacted]. The quality of the grass was A+ and after 3-4 weeks hired Heron to maintain it that way. A friend up the street had been using Heron for years and his lawn looked great (he has since quit them for [redacted]).
The yard looked great for 6-8 months and then it started to go down hill.
My yard has deteriorated over 3 years to the point that my new yard is 60% tan straw and full of weeds. I have placed numerous calls and complants. I have requested the 'supervisor' to meet me to walk the yard numerous times. The standard answers are "it too dry", "too wet", "too hot", "too much shade over there", "it's that time of the year". They never take responsibility for anything. I had one patch of crab grass 2'x3' that I refused to cut to show the supervisor how bad it was after 3 years. He sent someone out the following week and they didn't even spray it with anything. I called and waited 2 weeks and I finally killed it off myself. That was also the day I cancelled my service with them. The Super finally showed up a few days after I cancelled the service and he didn't even know I cancelled.
Between September 18, and October 09, 2015 I called them 8 times. Today they sent me a bill. Photos on request.
Guess what??

It's like they're your drug dealer and they just keep stringing you along while you give them your money.
Move on.

We began service in Feb 2014 with initial improvement in control of weeds - primarily dollar weed that continued to grow over winter. The technician returned in one month as he promised to assess the initial service. Pre-emergants were said to have been applied though subsequent lack of weed control makes that questionable. On their last service in August the tech assured me that the very substantial weed growth (which had occurred dispite their continued service) would be controlled within one month but that he would return in 2 weeks to finish the service that could not be completed because of a shortage of materials. He did not return in 2 weeks. In the meantime the growth of weeds continued unabated and was now taking over large areas of the lawn. During that month there was no evidence of any weed control or week death (maybe one sick weed was seen), After calling the company I was told the technician was scheduled to return in 2 days - but again he did not show. The company office was told that if there was not a very substantial progress in weed control by the end of Sept 2014 that they need not bother to return. I heard nothing more from them until the tech showed up one month later. He was dismissed - or in the words of "The Donald" "you are fired". In the meantime in order to try to prevent a total loss of the lawn in large areas I began my own treatment - it was amazing what a little atrazine did to control most of the weeds in only 2-3 weeks time. Unfortunately we were left with large areas where the weeds had totally choked out the grass. We are now starting to see grass runners entering the bare areas so we hope that it will recover going into next year.
Crab grass control was non-existant - but the tech essentially said that he could not control the various varieties of crab grass. Crab grass control agents available online have substantially reduced that growth of the crab grass.
We were assured that the sedge would be controlled ("Sedge is easy to control") but we saw no improvement in the sedge control.
What ever the company was using for fertilizer and for insect control did seem to do a good job since the grass in non-weedy areas did look good throughout the summer and into the fall.
In sum, I would not recommend their service, especially since it is more expensive that several other companies that I had considered.
