I am rejecting this response because: the technician still didn't even attempt to switch the circuit breaker. He told us there was mechanical failure that caused the AC to not work and there was only one way to fix it and it would cost $950. He never provided us with a breakdown of the costs. Again, he came by 2 days later saying his boss "[redacted]" made him quote us $950 and that he was a crook. I'm not arguing that the unit probably needed a cleaning, but that's not why the AC shut off. And he wouldn't give us any information about why it malfunctioned other than something was broken in the outside unit, which it wasn't. He's a liar and a thief.
