Heros Plumbing Service Reviews (%countItem)

A few months ago I had a plumbing issue in which they took over a week to "fix" and I even had to call my own plumber to come help with the situation. Fast forward to a week ago I noticed that my hallway bathroom was leaking heavily, I make a service warranty call to American Home Shield, and sure enough they send the dame contractor from last time. The guy shows up TATTED ALL ON THE FACE AND HEAD with Gang related Tattoos and was very scary looking. I attempt to ignore that fact and listened to what the guy had to say. In less than 5 minutes the guy just said that it was JUST THE FAUCET, when I'm not expert and saw that the pipes were leaking underneath. I asked him how he just made that presumption when the pipes were clearly also leaking? Also I showed him how in my hallway closet a ton of moisture had happened and created mold and completely ruined the closet, flooring, and created a ton of mold, and underneath my bathroom sink it was completely flooded and the weirdest thing is that no one in my house uses that restroom as my husband and I only live here and he works out of town all week and I never use that bathroom how would a faucet THAT NEVER GETS USED create that damage? He said if I didn't like that determination that I can call the home warranty and they can send someone else. So I immediately call American Home Shield and tell them they need to send someone else. When I tell them that they tell me they will charge another $100 service fee, even when the contractor they sent hadn't done anything to fix anything, she proceeds to just hang up on me. I call again, go through the whole story with another representative. At this time the guy "working on my plumbing" calls another guy to come help him check out whats happening. The lady from American Home SHield tells me they must get a report from the current contractor and that they would call me the next day, and of course that never happens! I end up calling AHS asking why did I not receive a call and they just tell me they have no notes that anyone is going to call me or anything of that sort (OF COURSE) and that the report from the contractor that said I started cussing at him and arguing with him! That's crazy to even think I would do that! I locked myself in my office because I was scared of the guy and he didn't like that I said "my apologies, but I am not going to accept that you tell me that its just a faucet, Ill call the home warranty" There was even a witness from the damn contractor company. When I called the contractor HERO'S PLUMBING some chick named *** answered and I asked her if it was usual for their employees to lie on reports like they did on mine & she had the audacity to tell me "ITS NOT LIES, YOU DID CUSS AND TRY TO FIGHT THE WORKER" as if she was there! I told her that I did not like how rude she was and that I needed to talk to a manager or owner and of course conveniently THEY WERE NOT AROUND. she then proceeds to hang up on me! When the other worked guys showed up I even told him that he was the one who worked on my home a few months back and at this point I was sure that all the continuous plumbing issues had to do with the "job he fixed" months back and he just stayed quiet. This company has terrible service, and now I have serious issues because of faulty work and am moving forward with complaints and speaking with a lawyer.

First and foremost I would like to say that we take every matter very serious and I'm fully aware of the situation. Now in response on the subject, the last time out to the customers residence was 7/31/2019 through American Home Shield home warranty which we are contracted by, for an unrelated matter and was completed 8/2/2019 (less than 3 days) due to access needed to be made by the customer in order to do the work at the time. On to the next matter in which customer states my employee is "tatted all over the face with gang related tattoos" is FALSE and is a very inappropriate, discriminating, judgmental and prejudice thing to say. My technician is a very knowledgeable, hard working and friendly individual and we have received nothing but good/positive reviews. As for the job my technician was there for, also through American Home Shield, was for a leak under the hall bathroom sink in which the leak was going through to small closet that is wall to wall. Upon arrival technician diagnose the sink faucet to be the cause of the leak and needed to be replaced. At that moment the customer got upset and did not accept the diagnosis, she was also upset that my technician would not take care of the secondary damages that were present upon arrival. Technician tried to explain to the customer he was there to take care of the plumbing issue and customer would need to contact AHS in regards to the secondary damages. Customer was upset, got loud with the technician and called AHS. At that point technician notifies Heros Plumbing office of the situation, Heros then sent out a second technician to overlook the situation and the second technician also communicated to office that the customer was being very rude and obnoxious. The customer then told the technicians to leave, therefore no work was done as customer did not accept diagnosis, declined technician to do any work and kicked him out. Technician left and submitted report to AHS. Customer then called Heros office being loud asking for owners name, name was given, and then the customer started threatening we better be ready because she is going to make a big complaint and say we do s""""y work and proceeded to use cuss words, at that moment dispatcher ***, which by the way is not just "some chick", but a young nice working lady and a mother, ended the conversation by saying "ok ma'am thank you have a nice day" as she could not communicate properly due to customer talking over her and using profanity. To resolve this matter we can send a different technician out if customer would like our company to go back out through AHS and have a different technician diagnose. I did personally call the customer this morning (2/10/20 @8:33am) no answer but I did leave a voicemail.Sincerely***Owner

Heros Plumbing came out to my home in September 2016. They are contracted through my home warranty (American Home Shield) and were sent here by the home warranty. I had a leak from the water heater that had flooded the front of my home. After heroes completed the inspection I revived a call that they broke my Suncast 100 ft. Powerwind Automatic Rewind Hose Reel and that I could take it up with his boss. He then said, you need anew water heater so call on Monday, and you better call early and let them know to get you one installed. I said I would pay extra do it right away oe even the next day. He refused. So now I was stock with broken personal property, flooded house and no hot water for 3 more days. He didn't even offer yo put a fan down on the carpet help clean it up and or even say "hey you better dry that up" I now have to replace my carpet. This company is no HEREO. A hero is a person who saves the day. This company ruined my day ! I called to get resolution at the office and al I got was attitude from the female worker. She wouldn't even write down the mode of the item her broke as she did not believe je and told me so.

First, this customer called and was YELLING and cursing at my FEMALE office staff on 12/7/18, then once done he just HUNG up on her, then the supervisor called him, he again was yelling and cursing and HUNG up on him!!! We already agreed to pay for the reel, as far as the water heater, this job was thru American Home Shield warranty company and we can ONLY do what they authorize us to do and their contract CLEARLY states that they dont cover ANY damage from a plumbing leak or issue. We are NOT a restoration company, we are a plumbing company, and plumbing companies dont carry fans, that would be a restoration companies job. I will NOT tolerate ANYONE yelling AND cursing at my staf! If customer would like us to pay for the reel we would still be happy to do so, however, my staff will not stand there and be verbally abused by anyone! This customer did NOT hire us, we were sent out by AHS, therefore, we are bond by the contract that this customer and AHS has in place regarding coverage and the process that we must follow.

I called George with Heros plumming on a Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm. He just got back from church as was planning on having some friends over for dinner. I explained that I needed help with a drain in my basement and 30 mins later he was at my front door. Will recommend to everyone.

Heros was sent out by my Home Warranty AHS for a leaking water heater. They "found" numerous code violations and stated it would be $700 out of pocket to fix. Being in the pipe trades for 30 yrs I quickly addressed the minor issues for $35 and an hour of time and called them to schedule replacement of my water heater as covered by the home warranty. Heros stated I had to pay them for all the repairs even though I had already fixed them because Heros had "identified" them. The receptionist told me I could not "pick and choose" what I wanted them to do. Last I checked it was MY home and I can choose who and what I want to pay for. They told me they would not do the home warranty repair unless I paid them for everything they listed.

When doing a water heater install thru the home warranty, we cannot pick and choose what code items we can do. The home warranty offers a "cash out" to those customers who want to the work themselves. For liability reasons we have to do the install completely since a permit WILL be needed and an inspection done by the code dept. Again, the warranty company offers a cash out for customers that want to the work themselves, we cant put our name on an install that we only did part of.
