Revdex.com:please find attached a few a few screen grabs of emails back and forth prior to the event where we discussed the leftover meals being able to be sent home with us and chef David agreeing to do soStating we had a buffet style dinner is also as we had a plated meal dinner in order and no where was it discussed to allow guests to come up for seconds and for us to have to pay for those secondsAlso attached is me asking ahead of time about this table setting and chef David stating if my Cordinator needing help that his servers would be happy to help...no where stating that them helping would be a "$service" not to say we do not appreciate the assistance given to our Cordinator in setting the tables with the wine, but seeing as I asked and was told they would be happy to help I am confused why it is being described as a "$service" as as far as the bar closing during dinner this is also something I discussed with the caterer ahead of time and it was in fact announced by the dj and my Cordinator also was aware and had to go in and ask the bartenders to close down multiple timesUs paying for the alcohol and then the bartenders not following our wishes when asked to close does in fact then cost us money. I have asked multiple times and still have yet to be explained why we paid for a bar service that was to include ice, and how chef davids crew running out of that ice is acceptable? The bartenders then used dirty cooler ice to serve drinks with. The bartenders soeaking ill was unfortune tune but with them being able to simply deny it I suppose that will remain a "he said-she said" situation. Also attached is a screen grab of one of our invoices with chef david (prior to our final head count) it shows that we indeed had a Plated meal NOT a Buffet style dinnerSo chef David stating we had buffet is a flat out lieYou can also see it shows hours of bartender service (5-12) and then seperet charge for the outdoor bar that ran 4:00-4:So the bartenders attempting to call last call at pm was a disappointmentSeeing as our contract clearly shows otherwise.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Upon receiving and reviewing the business's response I begin to feel confused as their excuses are very much so altered from their original response to me when I first tried to reach out to them via email after this incident originally the responded to my concern about them leaving with over a thousand dollars worth of my leftovers as a "mistake" and a "misunderstanding" on their partNow they are saying it is because they were giving them out to my guests as seconds and thirds evenWell the even begin to respond to that I would like to know why when we paid for the plates how are they taking it upon themselves to hand out extras to anyone? If that is even what happenedWhen I have, saved, the email of them agreeing to leave the leftovers in the tuppleware providedIt is not up to them to decide otherwise and hand out extras when we are they ones who paid for it and made it very clear that it was one plate per guest. In regards to the timeline of the day I also have saved and printed statements that the bar would open at 5pm and run for hoursAs well as tangible proof that shows we paid separately for the outdoor bar that began at pm. As as far as the bar closing during dinner, that was always the discussed planAs we provided the alcohol ourselves, and brought an amount that would last for a certain timeframe, by disregarding our wishes and staying open during dinner it allowed for more alcohol to be distributed than plannedThat it what I am referring to as money out of our pocketsWe purchased the alcohol and by the business choosing to stay open regardless of what we requested that caused us to run out of certain liquors much earlier than plannedCosting us moneyAs far as the garnishes, they were not used properly and they were misplaced and unfortunately as well as much of the night, it will remain a he said- she said situationWe have 130+ guests who all witnessed the behaviors of the bartenders and it will continue to be us and our guests words against the two bartenders wordsBut they were in fact speaking very ill of myself and that is a shameThe ice that we paid for ran out much earlier than the bartenders are admitting and that is again, money out of our pocket, we paid for ice service for hours and did not receive thatAnd again, unsanitary use of cooler ice was their solution The onlt matter that the business ever properly addressed with us was the $payment that they reimbursed to our groomsmanOther than that I never so much as received a full explaination or apologyJust a variety of excuses, that somehow have changed dramatically in their response to the Revdex.com than they were presented to myself via email priorIt is easy to blame it on my guests or claim that every single guest was "inebriated" and that is why they closed earlyBut excuses such as though are a simple cop out and it is sad to me that instead of respectfully stepping up to the issues at hand that the excuses continue to grow and change so drastically. it is easy for the business to blame the customer and claim their bartenders were just confused, but at the end of the day that does not suffice for the amount of money we paid for a service that was poorly givenPerhaps better communication on the businesses end would had prevented much of these issues, but unfortunately just a few weeks prior to our wedding the business had a new employee take over our event and I believe a lot of the details discussed for poorly relayed over to the new employee at hand, surely causing a lot of this confusion on the businesses end. I wish I would had at least gotten some sort of closure of reasonable explaination from the business as I did go into my first attempts at reaching out respectfully with higher hopes for a respectful resolution to all of thisI was very pleased with the service outside of the bar / and the issue of leaving with the leftoversAs they quoted me paying them respectful compliments, I did mean those, their servers were polite and outside of the bartenders I had no issues with the other employeesThe food was great also, but that does not explain why the 10+ plates, costing almost $each, totally at a few hundred dollars, was taken regardless of your coordinating employee agreeing to leave them in the tuppleware I do have many saved emails to tangibly back up many of my statementsPlease let me know if there is a way to attach them to further clear up the confusion.

Revdex.com Customer Complaint Response Chef David’s Catered Events August 25th, RE: *** Wedding In response to this customer complaint, we fist would like to sincerely apologize for any of the miscommunication to Mr& Mrs***This is our first complaint in over years of businessThe
alleged complaints are without meritBased on the contract of bar services, we upheld the hours that were contractedWe also provided table setting service that was not charged, approximately $ dollarsIn fact, we went beyond the time by minutes & ended our bar services at 11:pmWhere the miscommunication came about was regarding when we started our bar servicesThe bride, Mrs*** asked for the bar service to begin a half hour before ceremony, which started at 4:pmOur bar services started at pm and ended at 11pm fulfilling the 7-hour contracted amountMrs*** received the invoice which stated “hrsbar service.” Regarding the closing / shutting down the bar when requested by Mrs***She came up and asked for the bar service to be shut down for one hour mainly due to the extreme inebriation that was taken placeThis was not in the contract to close the bar during dinner serviceWe did our best, to not serve the guestsThe unplanned closing of the bar brought confusion for the wedding guestsWe closed the bar doors, and again we did our very best to fulfill Mrs*** requestsThe bar doors do not lockOur confusion in the Revdex.com complaint is the monetary aspect of Mrs***’ s request“This cost us money out of our pockets.” We are confused how this caused money to be lost. As for the garnishes, we had used them throughout the night and the extra leftover ones were in the refrigerator at the facilityWe used them throughout our bar servicesThe leftover meals were not provided, we did not do a head count so we will take Mrs*** at her word that or so guests did not arriveWe had guests come up for second and thirds therefore there was not any leftover food to leave How this equates to hundreds of dollars of food that was taken is absurdWe cannot use leftover food, and have no incentive to take food that will end up in garbageDue to liability concerns we must throw way any leftover foodThere were bags of au jus and scraps that were taken to discardAgain, no leftover food and how Mrs*** believes that was” hundreds of dollars of food” is falseAs to the ice being used, we had run past our contracted time because of the confusion and chaotic environment in which we servedIt is also our decision to protect our liability and the safety of our staff and guests. We have the right to refuse the bar service to anyone who appears to be inebriated. It is a state law mandate. Per our server, the ice ran out shortly after 11pmAs they were closing up the bar and guests were complaining, etc., guests insisted that ice from the beer cooler would be fineWe had so many confused guests that our servers felt if they requested it, that it would be appropriateThe ice did not run out hours before, per the allegationsWe spoke to our server and she stated that the dollars was a tipAfter communicating to Mrs*** after the wedding, we had sent the dollars back to her guestSince it was ‘he said, she said”, situation we took Mrs***’ s word that this had happened and immediately sent a check to the person who left the tip / money We assumed that if the bar was starting at 4pm and we billed for hours, the bar would end at 11pm. We hope that this clarifies and provides fulfillment to Mrs***We communicated promptly after the wedding to address her concerns and allegations through email communications which I attachedOur communication after the wedding with Mrs*** was polite and courteous, we apologize for the miscommunication but never did she request a monetary reimbursementShe requested that dollars be reimbursed and we had sent that outPer the Revdex.com complaint she stated that she was dissatisfied with the service provided, yet per her first email on July 18th she stated: “I would like to point out right away that the food was wonderful and the food servers were so kind and professional as well”. This amounted to 88% of their invoiceThe contradictions at this point and requesting monetary value now is confusing and upsettingThe times change, from early in the night to hours, etcand essentially her allegationsThe hearsay of what our bartenders did or did not say is something that we cannot proveWe have experienced and professional servers in which we have used for over yearsAnd have never had complaintsWe tried multiple times to respond in an efficient manner to her complaints. We did not feel it was appropriate to go into details of “he said, she said” and she did not ask for any monetary value. The number of inebriated guests not only caused confusion during the night but attested to chaotic environment & many of Mrs***’ s Revdex.com complaintChef David’s

In response to the client we would like to state first off that this matter has disproportionately gotten out of context.During our conversations, emails, the client never asked for a monetary sum or a reimbursement relating to the service from Chef DavidsIt was a complaint that we took to heart and honored what the client was requesting, and tried to help answer any of her allegations. We did not go into detail as to why there wasn’t any leftover food, and other matters that were brought to our attentionOur responses were not excusesWe apologize if that is how you understood it to beAs to the previous response, when Mrs*** stated anyone coming up for extras would have had to been ran by her, is unbelievableIt was a buffet style wedding where we served the guests that come up for secondsThis assertion that we would have had to get permission if a guest wanted extra food would have been very unprofessional, rude, and very strange. We understand where the confusion came in regarding the barThere was an outside bar that was set up at pmand then moved inside at pmThe bartenders were the same bartenders outside as they were insideWe charged an extra dollars for this outside service of labor (moving ice, tubes, condiments, etc.) back to the silo and the client agreedTherefore, the bartending started at 4pm.During the bar service, the client came up and asked to shut down the barThis was not a contractual agreementThe DJ and wedding planner both did not know the bar was going to be closed during dinner service otherwise it would have been announced as scheduledIt was closed by the bride because people would not sit down.Regarding her last response she stated that all of her guests would confide that the bartenders were talking ill of her and her wedding party, how that could / can be true, simply doesn't make senseWe took this matter very seriously and spoke with our bartenders - they denied any the allegations but we took Mrs***’ s word of the allegationsWe immediately reimbursed her guest of the 60-dollar mistaken tipIt has now turned into $of dollarsRegarding the bar being open, we tried very hard not to serve guests, in fact we only served a handful of guests - how this unplanned fiasco is now a monetary issue is beyond us and simply falseYes, the client provided the alcohol, but a handful of drinks would not have an impact that she is statingWe did our very best but to state now, that it was planned and it was our fault, is simply inaccurate and not true.Nowhere did she mention the $approximately table service we performed at no chargeThis was a service we provided because whomever’ s job it was didn't get completed and we try to appease all of our clients above and beyond.Again, our understating was that her complaint was metNever had she asked for $in reimbursement until the Revdex.com complaintYes, the Revdex.com is here to help disgruntled customers in this case but the facts simply are not true by the clientWe reimbursed her groomsman $for any misunderstanding on his part.We have been doing weddings and corporate events for over years and have never had a client compliant of this natureIf we were in the wrong, we would be more than happy to reimburse and/or make it rightThat is not the case hereWe feel this is simply a matter of trying to get money back for issues that were already serviced and contractually metWe take great pride in our business and for her to provide allegations and state matters that are insulting and disappointing to hear after our great food/service we providedWe feel this situation has been resolved, and we hope that any misunderstandings and lack of detail is now full and evident.Sincerely,Chef David’s Catered Events
