Herring Sanitation Service Inc.

We are private homeowners who have used Herring Sanitation for the 20 years we have lived in Dutchess County. They are reliable, reasonably priced and very professional, from their office staff to their field workers. We highly recommend them.

This company is terrible. They showed up and started doing work before I even hired them. All I did was call for an estimate. Then they over priced me and charged me for all kinds of other fees without my consent. They damaged my yard and didnt fix the lawn when they were done. Stay far away from these crooks!

I called in the morning and received same day service to have the septic tank pumped out, due to noise being made when flushing the toilet. The staff over the phone and service man were all friendly and he was on time for the job. The service man made sure that the toilet and system was properly working before closing off the septic tank. They even put me on a two year reminder for having the septic tank pumped in the future. Their prices are competive to others companies and I went with them because they are family owned and a local business in the community.

I LOVE Herring Sanitation! They are a family run business and have been around forever. That alone says something. The owners are great people and very honest and real community minded. They do great work and respond quickly when you need them. We have always been very happy with their work and now they even have fancy portable toilets which I used at a wedding recently - it was nicer than my bathroom! LOL
