The customer had the car towed into the shop stating; "I jumped the car backwards and now it won't start"
"">We jumped the car to drive it into the shop and the drive belt broke and came off hitting and breaking the transmission I nesWe replaced the Serpentine belt and transmission lines, repaired the melted wires to the new battery that we installedThis was all done with no cost because the customer stated they didn't have the money after the repair was completedThe customer was called and told the jeep was ready and that we didn't test drive it because it had no gas in it, the customer picked up the JeepThe Jeep was then towed back into our shop for overheating, Our Shop paid for the tow, it overheated due to the brake calibers being locked up from where the jeep set for a long period of timeThe customer was given a verbal estimate hich was declinedThe customer walked away with a $Battery and a $Tow, free of charge, our shop ate the cost for this customer, trying to helpHerrnstein Service Manager

Mr*** tried returning the part months after he ordered itHe is correct by stating the receipt does not read "we don't return special item parts", however we do have signs at the parts
counter that read "all special item parts ordered must be prepaid" and it states a "no return policy, no exceptions"It has nothing to do with warehouse spaceMyself and the parts manager have offered for Mr*** to bring the part in and we will try to sell the part for him and at that point refund him his money, when sold, but he is not interested in that optionWe feel we have went above and beyond business practices to try and make Mr*** happy, however, he seems focused only on a complete refund of his money, and we think it is outrageous for us to take a financial loss for Mr***'s misdiagnosis of his Chrysler Pacifica.Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.  My concerns are with the vehicle still doesn't start. It needs a new computer it will not hold charge. I've been told the voltage regulator runs off computer.  It has been a computer this entire time. I have the computer, had it when I last brought it in. My brother has handled this for me mostly, I apologize for all miscommunication. Things were fixed that had nothing to do with issue of starting and staying charged. You are correct that last tow had more to do with brakes and rotors than the battery and charge but once it stopped it wouldn't start either.  Beca us e I work out he handles things for me.  Why was the comp it er I was told it needed never put in. I bought it but it wasn't put in. I never knew I was not charged for anything.  At first yes I wasn't expecting it to cost that much but I paid the bill.   Thank you.
