I have been a stylist for over 5 years and had gel, pink and white, for as long. Happened once from hair color and this is how I KNOW the gel used in this service was/is inferior.

I'm writing this letter regarding to the complaint against my business was submitted with Revdex.com on 2/21/2014 10:05:10 PM and was assigned an ID number [redacted].

On 2/20/2014 complainant walked in my business and requested for pink and white gel fili in service, one of my employee greeted her and took her to the table for service. My employee showed and asked her if she ok with the kind of gel that she about to apply on her nails. She was agreed with my employee, after the job was completed the customer satisfied with the service and asked for the name of Nail Technician who just done her nails for a return services.  I can understand why her nails was turned beige from performing a hair color service at her job. I'm sure anything should turn color if it in contact with hair color, beside we're enforced NO REFUND policy, we can either re-do her nail with no fee of charge if we 're at fault. Eventhough, we were offered her a redone at the time she came back even it wasn't our fault.
After all, nothing were wrong with her nails, it wasn't cracked, lifted or turn fungus. It just turn color because she was performing a hair color service at her job and we cannot give her a refund.

Review: I wanted a pink and white gel fill in, which they advertise, and received a very cheap version of one. I have been getting gel fills for a very long time and have only once before had this issue. My nails turned color (beige) from performing a color service at my job. When the good gel is used, they do not absorb or discolor. The average cost for the premium gel is $40 to $50. Hershey Nails charged me for the premium gel. I returned to the salon for a refund and was only offered for them to be redone, with either the same gel or powdered gel. Let me point out here, there is NO such thing as powdered gel. It is acrylic with a gel top coat. I refused their offer for the exact same problem will occur because of my occupation. They apparently have a no refund policy.Desired Settlement: Refund for the service provided, as it was unacceptable.
