11/20/2015This is in regards of a Customer [redacted] This customer's complain is not legible because of the following reasons.This customer made a reservation through [redacted] / [redacted] .com at our Hershey Travel InnHersheyPa for 08/21/for a Queen room with Two Queen Beds, [redacted] confirmation # [redacted] Frist of all this customer never came to our property/checked-inInstead of [redacted] , her daughter tried to chewith her boyfriend on 08/21/As per our policy, when we asked her to show her picture l.Dshe could not provide us and said that her mom (*** [redacted] ) is not with herSo, as per our policy, when we asked her that if she could not provide her picture I.D than we need her mom's authorization letter that she is giving permission to let her use her reservation which was paid by her mom's credit cardShe said that her mom is not at home so she could not contact herAfter arguing she left and her mom*** [redacted] never contacted us/never showed up or never cancelled her reservation.On her complaint letter she has written did not received cancellationnumber-"Language barrier-person spoke limited English..."I want to *** [redacted] that we own this Motel business since and served thousand of customersSecond thingShe made her reservation through [redacted] / [redacted] .com, so she wanted to cancel her reservation than she should have to cancel her reservation through [redacted] / [redacted] .com, the same way that she made her reservation, Why she did notcancelled her reservation through [redacted] / [redacted] .com Here I am attaching proof for you that she did not cancel her reservation for 08/21/If she did cancel her reservation than please show the proofWe also paid commission to [redacted] .com for her reservation.Here I am attaching the statement from [redacted] .com as proof, which shows the reservation status 'O.Knot cancelledAlso, without receiving their cancellation, we could not sell their room for that day-08/21/So, we hold her room for 08/21/2015.Respected Sir/Madam, If she cancelled her reservation on that day than we could sell her room and may be we could help her by some other wayNow let me know that not receiving her cancellation for 08/21/2015, how she is eligible to receive full refund and we have to lose our revenue from both sides.Respected Sir/MadamI want to urge you to take a strict action against customers like this who take disadvantages of credit cards benefits and try to harm small businesses.I just want to inform this customer that if anybody will try to harm our business's goodwill by complaining with wrong information and a wrong way, that person will hear from our attorney,Thanks,Kind Regards,Ashish P(Owner)

08/11/17 Respected [redacted],This is in regards of our Customer-[redacted] and your member. This customer's complain is not legible because of the following reasons.We always have customer's information on our motel folio for our record. Customers have no right to ask our property or force...

to possess, as this is a motel-Hershey Travel Inn's property. We are doing this business since June-2006 and we have kept record of all our customers. We do not intend to use your information in any wrongful way.Second thing, [redacted] has paid for [redacted]'s stay for 07/17/2017 to 07/22/2017 at our Hershey Travel Inn. Then [redacted] has paid for [redacted].[redacted]'s stay for 07/26/2017 - 07/28/2017. There is no way, without [redacted] and [redacted]'s permission we will share this information to [redacted]. Review: We went to Hersheypark on 7/19/13 to attend a [redacted] concert. Unfortunately we booked late for a motel room and made a reservation at the Hershey Travel Inn. The cost for a 2 bedroom suite was $189.99 plus tax. We went to the motel after going to Hersheypark and were totally surprised. The place we checked in at was an old home (duplex). We went upstairs and the place smelled very musty and moldy. The bathroom floor had holes in the floor near the bathtub covered up by vinly, the sink was loose when you leaned on the top of the counter, cold water did not work. The bedrooms smelled musty and moldy. The sheets looked dirty and smelled. We also saw bugs on them. The "living area" had 2 foam cots that were supposed to be couches covered with bedsheets only. The microwave was not clean. The kitchen sink was dirty as well as the stove. The windows throughout would not open. There were window air conditioning units in each bedroom as well as the living area which were not even turned on. That day it was 98 degrees with a heat index of over 105. The handrail that you used to go downstairs to exit the room was broken and pieced back together. Kitchen table had screws sticking out with a piece of plywood mending the broken table. The place was not inhabitable and we felt very hazardous to our health. Wires were running through the back of the house. My husband and I each got rashes of our legs from just sitting on the couches. The building itself was not safe and was falling apart. My husband and I felt it was not safe or healthy to stay there. We decided to go home since there were no other motels nearby with any vacancies. It was a 2 1/2 hour ride home. My husband checked us out and told the manager that they place was disgusting and no one should be staying here. Very unsafe and unhealthy environment for anyone. Her reply was thank you and good bye. Nothing else.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of our money since we did not stay. We were very dissatisfied with the motel room and the treatment we received by the owners. We also want to make you aware of this motel as we feel it should be shutdown for many health violations. [redacted] made reservation through [redacted] at our Hershey Travel Inn, Hershey, Pa for 07/19/2013 for three adults, for room with two bedroom suite. This Customer argument about the facility was dirty is totally lie. My wife and me, we are the owner and we clean all rooms by ourselves,

One important thing that if they did not want to stay then they should have to cancel their reservation through Booking/Pricelme.com, the same way which they made1 their reservation. Why they did not eancclled their reservation through [redacted]? Here I am attaching proof for you that they did not cancelled their reservation for 07/19/2013 and we already paid commission to [redacted] for their reservation. And also, without receiving their cancellation, we could not sell their room for that day -07/19/2013, which was a busy even day.

[redacted]. [redacted], If they cancelled their reservation on that day then we could sell their room and niay be we could give them refund. Now let me know that not receiving their cancellation for their 07/19/13 stay, how they are eligible to receive full ; refund and we have to lose our revenue both sides,

I am rejecting this response because:

We could not cancel this reservation on the day we stayed because we would have to pay even if we did not stay. The confirmation paper we received via email stated that if you cancelled on the day of your stay you would still have to pay. We had tickets for a concert in Hershey Park that evening and waited til the month before the concert to try and find a motel to stay in that night. We went through booking.com and this was one of the only placed left. Everything else was booked. We felt that booking through this website was a good way to go. We never anticipated that the motel would be so much less than we expected. The motel was unfit for anyone and was not well-kept. In response to the business owners, we checked out at 11:00 pm that night and there was only 1 car in their parking lot. They were not losing any business because they had more than enough rooms to fill if someone else wanted to stay. We don't appreciate their tone in their response and their threat of a lawyer. We paid upfront via a debit card from my husband. We only used the credit card to reserve our room. Again, we did not except to be totally disappointed and disgusted by what we paid over $200/night for. This to us is a rip off. The next day my husband went online and found alot of negative comments about this motel. People stated that it was uninhabitable and that the room they were given had mold on the walls and stunk. This was our daughter's first time at a motel and she was scared. She wanted to go home and not stay. She found the room disgusting and she is only 9 years old. We chose to file a complaint to make you aware of this motel. To us, it's not fit for anyone to stay in and they are ripping the consumers off. If anyone should be seek an attorney it should be the consumer. The motel is unacceptable to for anyone to stay in especially any young child. To be exposed to those type of living conditions is not acceptable. I still have my rash that I got from being in the room for less than 30 minutes. Even if we don't receive a refund of any monies, we feel that this motel should not be placed on any reputable website or any recommendations from AAA or even the Revdex.com.
