Hersum Construction had not paid sub-contractors that they hired to do some of the reconstruction work on my home per my contract with Hersum that I have paid for in full. Two of the sub-contractors contacted me to complain that they had not been paid for work they performed months ago, and Hersum had not replied to their repeated invoices nor responded to their inquiries. One of these sub-contractors notified me they were planning to file a Mechanics Lien on my property. While these 2 sub-contractors have each recently received a check from Hersum (I have no knowledge if these checks passed), Hersum Construction has not yet responded to my phone and email request for information on when ALL the vendors and sub-contractors for work at my home were or will be paid and to send me documentation evidence of their payment in full.
All subcontractors and suppliers on Ms ***'s home have been paid. *** has been on vacation and we were waiting for her return to reply to Ms ***'s e-mail requesting lien releases. We went through a period with a cash flow problem and are working our way out of it. But everyone has been paid who work on or provided materials for her home. The building materials have been paid for, 3-Day Blinds were paid upon our picking up the blinds, *** Carpets has been paid in full, *** Glass & Window has been paid in full , *** has been paid in full, and *** has been paid in full. Interestingly, the very day that the tile subcontractor left a note on her door is the day I contacted him to pay and did pay him. He did not tell me about the note and I only found out after the fact from Ms ***. We did have difficulty paying the 2 subs., but there was no way we were going to let them file liens on her property. I apologize for any stress we have caused the homeowner. It was not intentional.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, though one of the sub-contractors (Best Ever Waterproofing, for the shower hot-mop) was not mentioned as having been paid. I will assume that this is an inadvertent oversight in their response to Revdex.com, and that this sub-contractor was also paid.
Thank you for your assistance in gaining communication from the business to address my concerns.
