Review: I have issues with Hertrich Collision Center of Milford, DE and problems not getting solved. I was in an accident in 2012 and her insurance company had me take my car to Hertrich Collision Center for body work. When my car was struck, the entire light fell out of its lamp and hanging down, lens unbroken, by the wire. Since the accident, my light has fallen out of the lamp on three different occasions. Lens does not break, just wont stay in. The first time I brought it in, I wanted to report it to the insurance company but the manager said he would not fix my car if I reported it as he said the problem was not caused by the accident. I paid to have it fixed and it happened a second time last summer. Again, I was told the same story and someone keeps hitting my car. I didnt believe him the second time but paid for it and forgot to call the insurance company when I got home. The third time it happened was over the Thanksgiving holiday and I had enough by then. I called the collision center and was told I would need to pay for it a third time. So then I called my insurance company and they couldnt believe that I have to pay over and over again for the same problem. They called the Hartford, the other ladys insurance people, and they have been good at taking care of this. I went on vacation and when I returned last week, the adjuster came out to my house and looked at my car as I refuse to go back to Hertrich. The problem is from the 2012 accident and the insurance supervisor was supposed to get back with the Collision Center to get my funds returned to me but I dont know if that happened. I was given an estimate last week and they mailed me a check to take my car to another body shop. So the Hertrich has been paid three different times to fix a problem that they fixed incorrectly. I dont remember how much I paid but I want at least some of the funds returned as now I have to take my car elsewhere for the problem they did not fix. Desired Settlement: I paid twice for the same problem that is still not been fixed. I now need to find another body shop and the insurance company is at least paying for it this time.
