In response to your letter dated 5/16/regarding the additional concerns of [redacted] , please be advised that I have attempted to contact him to discuss the situation On May 20, I called [redacted] at 3:20p.mto offer him the number to Suntrust Bank Loan Servicing Department which would assist in changing the payment book into his nameHe was working at Salisbury State University setting up the stadium for graduation and as such he was unable to take the number to the bankHe stated he would ca ll me back the very next day I did not receive a phone call so on 5/23/at 1:p.mso I reached out and called again I left a message wit h the phone number to the bank that services his accountAs of 5/28/14, he has not returned my callI did call again the same morning at 10:a.mand asked him to return my call Another phone ca ll was placed to on 06/06/at 12:and a message was left againAs stated previously, w hen we originally agreed to the deal, both parties executed the paperwork together, which clearly indicates both names on the buyer's order, credit application, title application etcI was not aware of any issue with until the payment book for the vehicle arrived in [redacted] sister's nameThe reason the payment book came in his sister's name only is because we had to place her on the loan first to obtain the better bank ratesWith [redacted] sister being on the loan first, the payment book will come to her address and in her name and be titled in the same mannerThe way the vehicle is titled is something that we cannot change however the customer can change the payment book to his name by calling Suntrust Bank Loan Servicing Department at 1- [redacted] ***

In response to your letter dated 02/13/15, the customer *** *** purchased the Chevrolet Tahoe on 6/28/Frederick Ford was aware of the problem with the Inspection and the tlmellne with It being completedWe, however, we did deliver a rental vehicle at no charge to MrHering for
his use while his vehicle was Maryland State InspectedAfter the Inspection, the customer did complain of an alignment issue and Frederick Ford performed a four wheel alignment on 7/11/at no charge to the customer After this work was completed we were not aware of any other Issues with the vehicle

When the customer came in he and she were explained due to the strength of the co-maker's credit they would have to go first on the loan to obtain the better bank percentage rateWe explained to the customer that they would both get credit for the vehicle since both were on the loan

We also explained to the customer that both would have to be present on the title alsoOur staff also suggested when the other person's credit score was more satisfactory they would have the opportunity to refinance the vehicle with the banks approval
All phone calls were answered from both parties and returned to the customer promptlyAnd the situation was explained and all areas of concern were addressed

I did not receive a phone call so on 5/23/14 at 1:56 p.m. so I reached out and called again.  I left a message wit h the phone number to the bank that services his account. As of 5/28/14, he has not returned my call. I did call again the same morning at 10:43 a.m. and asked him to return my call.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
 Please note that their response about informing me did not happen until my sister called and stated she received the coupon book in her name only.  [redacted] did not contact me until my sister called me and was very upset about receiving a payment book and having her name being the only one on the payment book.  She called [redacted] and he stated she did not buy a car and it did not matter; however, she stated "do not tell me I did not buy a car when the payment book is in my name only".  [redacted] called her the next day and she informed them that she has purchased over 20 new cars in her lifetime, but they pulled a quick one on her because she didn't even know she bought a car.  She was only co-signing the loan for me.  My sister informed both [redacted] the salesman and [redacted] that she knew times changed, but did not want her name on the car, just the loan and was that possible.  [redacted] stated he understood and [redacted] stated it did not matter if her name was 1 or 51.  We both have discussed this and feel neither one of us has been lied to so well.  Every car dealership tells a few white lies, but this place pulls the wool right over your eyes.  They stated that their reputation is by word of mouth so people should know what they do to sell a car.  [redacted] stated he would send me a payment book in my name only and to this date, I have never received one.]
