Hertz Cars Sales of Philadelphia

Review: I purchased a 2012 [redacted] Hatchback from Hertz Car Sales on August 21st, 2014. At that point in time, I was given a temporary license plate that would expire on September 19th, 2014. September 19th came and went without having received my plates and registration. On September 21st, I called and reported that my plates had not been delivered, and I was told it would get looked into, and they gave me a rental car to use in the meantime. A week went by, and when I checked in with Hertz, I was told that their records showed that the registration was done on September 15th and that the plates were sent out. When I asked what date the plates were sent, they did not have that information and told me they would call me back. Almost a month of me calling and getting the same information and no date of when the plates were sent went by. I also received no return phone calls for the approximately 15 times I called them to get an update. During that time, I also called the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, and they had no record of my VIN number. Hertz had no answer as to why that would be the case since everything was apparently done on September 15th, but they still could not answer me as to why I had not received my plates or registration. On October 21st, when I demanded to talk to a manager, I was finally told that they had lost my power of attorney form and had finally found it and were finalizing the registration and plates that day. They promised me I would receive my plates and registration in the mail by Friday October 24th, 2014. I still do not have my plates or registration, and they are not answering my phone calls anymore - they have been letting my number go to voice mail every time.Desired Settlement: I would like them to tell me exactly when I can expect to receive the license plates and registration that they have claimed to have sent to me as well as be reimbursed for the registration service I paid them for because of the horrible customer service I have received. If they can not get me my plates or registration in a proper fashion, I want to do the service myself and be sufficiently reimbursed for my time that they have wasted.
