Nothing good to say about the service. Did NOT explain how much the insurance would be. I'm sure they tell there employees NOT to explain how much the insurance is! I will NEVER and I WILL tell anyone who wants to rent a car, to never rent a vehicle from any hertz. Especially from Redmond/Bend airport! No matter what their response will be to this, A. it won't change how I feel, nor will it get my money back, B. it won't change my decision to never rent from here, C. I know they will continue to tell me it was ALL my fault. D. I don't even want to give them even one star, but it seems I'm made to.

and this is the carpet that was left over. When the informed our sales person of the left over carpet and requested a refund, we processed a refund for the labor portion only of 100.00. The customer requested the carpet be put in a different room. The other room had laminate flooring in it and it would need to be removed prior to installing the carpet and this would be additional cost to the customer which is why the installer was unable to proceed and told the customer he could not do this with out We are attempting to contact the customer to see if she would like to place this additional order for the take up of laminate and install of the remaining carpet portion. Review: I rented a car 7/6/15 under the impression that I would be charged $185 for the week, I asked to add insurance to the vehicle and was told that it was $46 total, I was charged $46 a day. I extended the rental until 7/18 and was charged 668.23Desired Settlement: my bank account overdrafted 2x in the amount of $35 because of all of the holds Hertz put on my account

Review: I am very unhappy with the service I received with Hertz. It appears none of the departments communicate with each other (Customer Service, Rental location, Vehicle Control, etc.). Every single time I called, my auto insurance (USAA) called, or my credit card company ([redacted]) on the payment dispute, we had to hold on the phone for a long time or get passed around to different people. I was told it would be taken care of or it was already completed by Phil at the rental location. I was not told that I had to fill out a incident report until months after attempting to resolve the issue and told if I fill it out now, it's a documenting I failed to follow the process. I would like this overcharging of fees, on something I had no control of, reversed and the credit returned to my [redacted] credit card. I told Hertz numerous times that I had been in an accident and where the car was located. It is an insult to be charged additional weeks of rental on a car that was totaled and an impound/storage fee from the towing company that was due to Hertz negligence. I have never had such an awful customer experience as I have had with Hertz. I choose Hertz due to my company, Aetna’s discount, and thinking you were a large respected company. If I had know how poorly I would have been treated, I would have chosen [redacted] like my family and friends had recommended. I am contacting the Revdex.com regarding this awful experience so that others do not have to go through what I experienced.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a credit back on my [redacted] credit card in the amount of $2723.70 and any finance charges I may have received due to this incorrect charge.

Review: Upon renting a vehicle I was refused the opportunity to remove the insurance because there's only a 3-5 min window to change your mind after electronically signing the contract. Although I never left the rental office, never even stepped foot inside the vehicle, or received the keys. If you do not make changes within that 3-5 mins window you are either trapped in your contract or forced to spend twice the amount by voiding the current contract and agreeing to a second contract without the insurance which includes a second $200 hold and a second cost of the rental. The pricing for the insurance options are not displayed, nor are the prices explained individually. After complaining, I was informed of their policy and regardless of the fact it's not displayed it's my responsibility to know. Regardless of the fact that the 3-5 mins window to change my mind isn't verbally explained or displayed anywhere at the business location, it's my responsibility to know their policy. Neither of these policies that were explained to me are listed anywhere in the signed contract, nor are they displayed or verbalized prior to the finalization of a vehicle rental contract. I should be able to make any changes necessary as it applies to my funds. Desired Settlement: I'd like the money I spent for insurance to be refunded to me promptly and the policies that are being used to entrap people be displayed and explained prior to finalizing rental agreements. The individual pricing for the different tiers of insurance need to be displayed as well as explained individually and not as a whole after being added to the cost of the rental.

Review: 1) I rented a car from Hertz on 10/24/13 2) Exchanged the vehicle on 10/25/13 3) Returned on 11/1/13 Based on the rental contract, I had to leave a $50.00 deposit (which a hold for the funds was put on my credit card). In addition, I selected the option to bring the car back with the same amount of gas that was in the car when I originally rented it. Both vehicles were returned with more gas in the tank; then, what was in the tank when I first rented the vehicles.After both vehicles were returned, I was under the impression no funds were owed to Hertz for the rentals I had. I continued to monitor my bank account to ensure no erroneous charges would be slammed on my bank card. 11/3/13 I noticed a charge from HERTZ in the amount of $3.40. I contacted HERTZ to confirm what the charges were for. I spoke with a MANAGER by the name of [redacted] advised the charge was due to me returning the car & gas used was not replenished. I explained to [redacted] that both rentals were returned with more gas in the tank; then, the amount in the tank when I 1st rented. [redacted] confirmed that when the car was rented to the next customer, the gas gauge was checked & noted to be more than the amount noted by the HERTZ employee that checked in the car ---when I returned the car. [redacted] expressed the employee that checked the car in (when I returned the car) failed to note the correct gas consumption amount. [redacted] apologized and advised the money would be credited back to my bank acct by 11/12/13. To date, the money has not been credited back to my bank account. 11/26/13 I contacted HERTZ again to advise the credit has not been completed. I spoke with Kendra who advised [redacted] was out of the office today & I should contact HERTZ billing department to advise of the credit that should hit my bank acct; but, hasn't. I asked KENDRA to have [redacted] follow-up to see what's going on and to call me -----rather than have me contact their billing dept for their mistake.At this point, I'm irate & want credit.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and an apology in writing. As well as, a return call describing specifically what occurred and what steps are being taken to prevent this error from happening to other customers.

Review: my daughter [redacted] was in an accident on sunday the 4th of jan 2015 [redacted] was contacted because she is four hours away from our home they said we have people in the area they work with and made arrangements with brandywine auto repair to repair the car and with hertz to give [redacted] transportation while the repairs are completed as we dont know anyone in the area . so hertz was to set up the rental of a car for her which she was very shook up about the whole accident and said the paper work was put in front of her to sign the rental for the car which was a sign here here and here and so on only to find she has a car for 18 dollars a day and an insurance for 29.99 a day she questions this with [redacted] who states thats wrong my [redacted] insurance covers that hertz made a mistake and that should be removed while after calls to the hertz in delaware last week none which were answered monday the 12 of jan I called 5 times to talk to this [redacted] at hertz who rented her the car no answer just voice mail [redacted] called 3 times no answer so I attempted to call hertz corp which after finally getting a live person who couldnot help but transferred me to another then another ther another this person [redacted] got ahold of [redacted] at delware who said [redacted] signed for it after explaining to him the situation he said he took the insurance of as today but would not correct the complete contract his manager need to approve here is her number kelsy while I called her all she would say oh well she signed the paper that it continued to repeat the same so when I tell her that not right I need to speak to some one above her able to satisfy this correction she said no and hung up the phone I recalled the number and again got the answering machine no one would answer so I called the corp line got a person who said the local has the authority to correct they cant see the contract until the rental is closed this is really wrong a mistake and no desire to correct itDesired Settlement: all we are requesting is correct the paper work take the insurance of the entire rental as it should have been do to a pushy sales tactic to take advantage of a situation since my insurance set this up and my current policy covers the rental she is driving during the contract

[redacted] rented a hertz vehicle due to an insurance claim. At the time of rental,optional insurance was offered to her in case she may need it. She was unsure of whether she needed the coverage, so she called a parent to ask, and they told her to accept the coverage. The total amount of the rental plus the cost of the insurance was reviewed with the customer before authorizing their card for any amount of money. Once the customer, [redacted], agreed, she then signed the document completing the rental process. A few days later, [redacted], who has stated to be the father of the renter called and asked us to remove the coverage because his daughter did not need it. Iremoved it immediately, and explained to him that the coverage was removed off of the contract at that time, but that [redacted] is stm responsible for paying for the balance of the insurance that was used up until that day. [redacted] then beganshouting and yelling demands over the phone stating that him, nor his daughter were going to be paying for that. I apologized, and again tried to explain to him why we could not remove the charges for theinsurance. [redacted] then started screaming into the phone and shouted threats such as "Iwm make your life a living [redacted]l" & "I will do whatever I have to get what I wantl" & "I will come down to that office every day to harass you and I will be your worst nightmare I" At that point I decided it would be best if I just hung up, as those threats are unacceptable and completely out of line. Thank you
