On the first day of work on my home I noticed that my flower's in the back of my home had been trampled and also that the cover to my grill had been torn I reported this to my leasing office and the office stated that my flowers and grill cover would be replaced after completion of the job the workers were doing on my homeI still had flowers that were in the back of my home but the following week after having complained about the other flowers being trampled on the workers then proceeded to trample on my other set of flowers that were in the back of my homeI feel like this is very unprofessional and that the workers do not have any regard for others personal property

Thank you for the notificationThe customers complaint was handled at our staff level so I was not aware of the issueAfter reading the complaint and reviewing in house I would be happy to offer a responseFirst and foremost I would like to address the safety concernsThe customer is correct to be concerned about Carbon Monoxide as anyone shouldHowever, CO backdrafting is generally associate with atmospheric combustion appliancesThe unit that is installed in the customers home would be a sealed unitTherefore a clogged would not result in a CO issue it would shut down the applianceThe only danger of Co from a sealed unit would be if there were a cracked heat exchangerI would like to assure them that an issue with venting would not pose a dangerHowever, since the technology in CO detectors has come a long way and I would recommend that anyone occupying an older home install CO detectors.Concerning the venting issue I am sorry to hear that there was an issueParticularly on such a cold weekendHowever, being that the home is years old and we have no records of previous issues with the furnace I have to say that I feel the request is unreasonableExtreme cold weather certainly does create excessive moisture in system ventingHowever, January through March of were the coldest months on record in Lancaster County and if there was not an issue at that time I cannot imagine how a day cold snap could cause such an issueWithout an opportunity to view the issue first hand to verify I cannot ascertain why there was an issue this timeHowever I would think that there could be a correlation with the 30" snow storm we had just prior to that weekendDuring that time many homes with power vent furnaces had furnace shut downs due to snow covering the vent, including my own homeEven if partially blocked it could certainly have added to improper venting and moisture collectionI have no way to know if this was a factor or not? However the timing is coincidental In summary I certainly never want any ill will with a customerHowever at years with a functioning appliance I do not feel the request is reasonableThank you very muchRandy H***
